Albert E. Ciampoli

Family & friends are invited to attend Visiting Hours on Tuesday, March 7th from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Vertuccio & Smith Home for Funerals, 773 Broadway (Rte. 107) REVERE, for Albert E. Ciampoli, who passed after a lengthy illness at the Bedford VA Hospital of Bedford, MA. His funeral will be conducted from the funeral home on Wednesday, March 8th at 10:00 a.m., followed by a funeral mass in St. Anthony’s Church, 250 Revere St., REVERE at 11:00 a.m.

Born & raised in Revere, he attended Revere schools & was a 1941 alumnus of Revere High School. Most of his working career was spent in waste disposal, retiring from SCA Industries & Enterprises of MA. after 20 years of service. He joined the Army in March of 1944 and served until May of 1946, as a Pvt. 1st Class & sharpshooter rifleman. As an expert gunner, he served during the Battle of the Bulge-The Rhineland and Central Europe. He was a proud member of the time he spent at the front. He was the recipient of many decorations & citations, i.e., the European African Middle Eastern Theater Campaign Ribbon, the Victory Medal, the Good Conduct Medal & the Purple Heart. He was a former member of the American Legion Post #61 of Revere, The I.T.A.M. Revere Post #17 of Revere & the Revere Loyal Order of the Moose #1272. Interment will be held privately, in the spring, at New Riverside Cemetery of Alton, NH.

He leaves his beloved wife of 66 years Beatrice L. (Boudrow) Ciampoli. He is the cherished father of David P. Ciampoli & his wife Karen of Saugus, Benjamin Ciampoli & his wife Mary-Lou, Nina Green, Retired Revere Patrolman Paul J.Ciampoli, all of Revere, Karen Messina & her husband, James of Alton, NH & the late Linda M. Shaughnessy & her surviving husband, Paul J. Shaughnessy of Revere. Devoted grandfather of Joseph P. Shaughnessy & his wife Cindy, Matthew P. Shaughnessy & his wife Amy, all of Revere, Michael Ciampoli of Winthrop, Benjamin A. Ciampoli & his wife April Moody of Plaistow, NH, Crystal Mejia & her husband Luis, Albert Whorf & Carissa Messina, all of Alton, New Hampshire & the late David, Paul & Carolyn Ciampoli. He is also lovingly survived by four (4) Great-Grandchildren; Brianna, Amelia, Marlon & Gianna & many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces & grand-nephews. He was the proud son to the late Antonio & Assunta (Gianantonio) Ciampoli & the muched loved Brother to the late Frances Corulli, Philomena Perdomenico, Annie Russo, Emily DiVino, Susan Baldesari, Quido, Edward, Harry & Qurino Ciampoli.

Visiting Hours

Tuesday, March 7th from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Funeral Mass

Wednesday, March 8th at 11:00 a.m. in St. Anthony of Padua Church, Revere

Interment

Will be held privately in the Spring at New Riverside Cemetery, Alton, New Hampshire

On September 30th, 2022, we proudly purchased the Vazza “Beechwood” Funeral Home – DiPietro and Vazza, Inc. A name that has served families for 102 years. We feel blessed that with all of the interest, the Vazza Family chose us to carry on their century old business and family name. We will become Vertuccio Smith & Vazza, Beechwood Home for Funerals. We will continue to honor the Vazza name and continue our commitment the same way that we always have. We also look forward to having both Louis Vazza and Jessica Vazza Ferragamo alongside of us, as we come together as one.
Our reputation has always been our biggest asset. For many years people always wanted us to have a larger facility, now our facility is the largest funeral home in the area. We will be making many beautiful upgrades to allow our families to have the most elegant facility to honor their loved one.
Although this announcement is bittersweet, as we say goodbye to our home, we are forever grateful for all of you for placing your constant faith and trust in us to care for your loved one. We will continue to do what we are best known for.
