Cherished sister of Virginia Michaud of Salem & the late Eugene Hurley, James Hurley & Eileen J. Tighe. Also lovingly survived by several nephews & nieces.

At 83 years, peacefully, in the presence of her God on April 6th, in Methuen formerly of Lawrence, East Boston, Billerica & New Hampshire. Beloved wife of the late Joseph P. Prudente. Cherished mother to Joseph J. Prudente & his wife Kathleen of Worcester, John J. Prudente & his late wife Nancy of the Villages, FL & David F. Prudente & his wife Suzanne of Acton. Adoring grandmother to Kevin J. Prudente & wife Jaime of Bolton, MA, Jillian M. Masters & husband Nicholas of Shrewsbury, MA, John J. Prudente, Jr. & wife Lindsey of Worcester, James M. Prudente & wife Anya of Melrose & Isabel E. Prudente of Acton. Also lovingly survived by 10 great grandchildren: Riley, Caroline, Charlotte, Luke, Victoria, Pearl, Alexandra, John J., III, Michael & Gregory. Palma was an alumna of East Boston High School, Class of 1954 & a former employee of Fision Pharmaceuticals & Digital Inc. Palma’s loving family are most grateful that she was spared mercifully, not to have passed from this vicious virus and was taken from us peacefully & unexpectedly in the realm of natural causes.

Shawn M. (Melone) Cook

Funeral services will be held at a later date for Shawn M. (Melone) Cook, who died unexpectedly on Monday, April 6th at her home in Revere. She was 56 years old. Shawn’s life will be honored by her family & friends at a later date and will be announced on social media.
Shawn was born & raised in Revere. She was educated in Revere public schools and was an alumna of Revere High School, Class of 1981. Shawn worked various jobs before she was married on April 25, 1986 to Michael W. Cook. The couple remained in Revere and it was there where they raised their family. Shawn was a proud housewife & mother of her 2 sons, Michael & Mathew. Her life was built around her family. She loved entertaining during the holidays as well as decorating for each one. Cooking was also a passion of hers and she loved to see everyone enjoy her many delicious meals. In her spare time, she loved her TV shows, especially Law & Order. Many people would see her in her front yard gardening and making her home welcoming, she would be in the back-yard planting flowers & vegetables for everyone to enjoy.
She is the cherished wife of Michael W. Cook of almost 34 years of marriage of Revere. Proud & loving mother of Michael P. Cook & wife Colleen of Lynn & Mathew D. Cook of Revere. Adored grandmother of Jacob “Jake” & expected grandmother of another grandson. Beloved daughter of the late Lawrence P. & Marilyn Mary (McCarthy) Melone. Dear sister of Kathleen M. Angelini & husband Gary of Revere & Judy H. Rizzo & husband David of Peabody. She is also lovingly survived by several loving nieces, nephews, grandnieces & grandnephews.

Hickey & his wife, Marie of Little Elm, TX, formerly of Revere & Somerville & Gary R. Hickey of Wakefield. Dear uncle of Amanda, Ian & Olivia Hickey, all of Wakefield & Claire Hickey of Boston & the late Christopher Kennedy. Also lovingly survived by his grandnephew, Miles G. Kennedy & his grandniece, Valentina S. Kennedy, both of Nahant.

Joseph A. “Red” Terenzio

Private Funeral Services & entombment in Woodlawn Cemetery – Sheffield Mausoleum were held for Joseph A. “Red” Terenzio, who passed away on March 30th at 96 years. Joe, also known to many as “Red”, was a lifelong resident of Revere. He was born & raised in Revere and attended Revere Public Schools. At the young age of 17, Red enlisted in the United States Army at the height of World War II. He proudly rose to the rank of Staff Sergeant in the 43rd Infantry Division 169th Regiment. During this time, Red was awarded three Purple Hearts on 3 separate occasions. He was wounded in the Solomon Islands & Luzon, Philippines & New Guinea. Each time Joe was wounded, he fought to get back with his group to continue to fight alongside his fellow soldiers. Joe was honorably discharged for his valiant & courageous service to his country. He was also awarded a Silver Star, 2 Bronze Stars, Good Conduct Medal, and Distinguished Unit Badge. Red returned home and he married to the “Love of his Life” Delma Signore. The couple remained in Revere where they raised their family. Red was also an entrepreneur. He worked at the Chelsea Naval Hospital as a painter and he also began his own business called “Red’s Painting & Plastering” & he also owned BT Cuttery, since 1976 with his daughter Brenda. He also worked as a Custodian in the Revere Public Schools. Red was completely devoted to whatever he did. When he did anything, he gave 100%. He was a loving, dedicated and hardworking family man. He was certainly a true definition of being a part of the Greatest Generation. He was a well decorated war hero, who loved his country. It was fitting to his personality and his life that he was married for 70 years to his wife and when his health began to fail, he became a resident at the Chelsea Soldier’s Home. He was back with his fellow soldiers, all sharing a common ground. Red was approached to be a part of a book, titled “The Rifle” written by Andrew Biggio, which is to be published this June. Red, along with many other WWII veterans are featured in this book. Red also signed a rifle that he and thousands of U.S. Soldiers used during the war. Red was also interviewed by Channel 5 about his time during the war & about the upcoming book. He was a longtime member of the Revere Moose Lodge 1272 and enjoyed playing pool there as well as being a member of their softball team. He also enjoyed baseball and was a devout Boston Red Sox fan.
He is the beloved husband of 70 years to Delma A. (Signore) Terenzio. Devoted father to Faith A. Caporiccio & husband James of Wareham & Brenda A. D’Errico & husband James J. of Revere. Cherished grandfather to Diandra D’Errico of Revere, Jenna Fascoldi & husband Eric of Wareham, Marc Caporiccio of NH & the late Michael A. Caporiccio. Dear brother of the late Phyllis A. Capuano, Ralph & Domenic Terenzio, Mary Siciliano, Concetta “Connie” Messina, Antoinetta Horton & Rose Sunderland. He is also lovingly survived by 2 great grandchildren, Maria & Isabella & many respected nieces, nephews, grandnieces & grandnephews.
A memorial mass & “Celebration of Life” for family & friends will be held at a later date and announced on social media and here on our website.

Cherished aunt of Marie E. Mazzulli-Varone & her husband Fred of Saugus, Cheryl Fuccillo & her companion, Thomas Bagley of Burlington & also survived by many other faithful nieces, nephews, grandnieces & grandnephews.
