Amparo Quintero
Family & friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Wednesday, June 18th, 2014 at 11 a.m. in St. Anthony of Padua Church, 250 Revere St., Revere, for Revere resident Amparo Quintero, who died on Tuesday, June 10th at her Revere home following a brief illness, at 55 years. Born & raised in Guatica, Colombia, she & her family came to the United States of America in June of 1999, settling in Medford for ten years & moving to Revere in 2009 (five years ago). She was the chef & then General Manager of Dali’s Restaurant in Somerville. Mrs. Quintero worked until March of this year. She is the beloved wife of 35 years to Nestor J. Salgado. She is the devoted mother of: Nestor A. Salgado & his companion Natalia, & Natalia E. Salgado, all of Revere, & the late Eliana M. Salgado. She is the dear sister of Alberto, Consuela, Pedro, Estella, Sergio, & Annamaria Quintero, all of Colombia. Many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces & grand-nephews also survive her in Colombia.
