Family & friends are invited to attend visiting  hours on Tuesday, April 9th, 2013 from 4 – 8 p.m. in  the Vertuccio & Smith Home for Funerals, 773 Broadway (Route 107), Revere, for Angelina (Frizzi) Orlandino, who died following a long illness on Friday, April 5th in the Lighthouse Nursing Care Center of Revere, at 87 years.  Her funeral will be conducted from the Funeral Home  on Wednesday, April 10th at 9:30 a.m., followed by a funeral mass in the Immaculate Conception Church (corner of Beach St. & Winthrop Ave.), Revere at 10:30 a.m.  Born & raised in East Boston, she attended East Boston Schools & was a 1943 alumna of East Boston High School.  For over 10 years, she worked as a cocktail waitress at the former “Cloud Nine Restaurant” at Logan Airport.  She is the wife of the late, Arthur Orlandino, who died in August of 1998.  She is the devoted mother of: Blanche A. Orlandino of East Boston, & Jaye Tremonte & her husband Stephen D. of Revere.  She is the Cherished Grandmother of: Arthur Orlandino of Revere, Stephanie Beneski & her husband, Dr. John Beneski of Revere, & Stacie Allen & her husband David of Wellesley.  She is the dear sister of Victoria Spinelli of Methuen, Mary Alessi & Gloria Capone  both of Winthrop, Guy Frizzi of Revere, & the late: Frank Antonucci, Sarno Antonucci & Mildred Antonucci.  She is also lovingly survived by her nine Great-Grandchildren: Jessica, Devin, Jacqueline, Kyle, Brendan, Owen, Kallie, Aiden, & Jordan, & many nieces & nephews.  Interment will be in Puritan Lawn Memorial Cemetery, West Peabody.

We feel blessed that with all of the interest, the Vazza Family chose us to carry on their century old business and family name. We will become Vertuccio Smith & Vazza, Beechwood Home for Funerals. We will continue to honor the Vazza name and continue our commitment the same way that we always have. We also look forward to having both Louis Vazza and Jessica Vazza Ferragamo alongside of us, as we come together as one.
Our reputation has always been our biggest asset. For many years people always wanted us to have a larger facility, now our facility is the largest funeral home in the area. We will be making many beautiful upgrades to allow our families to have the most elegant facility to honor their loved one.
Although this announcement is bittersweet, as we say goodbye to our home, we are forever grateful for all of you for placing your constant faith and trust in us to care for your loved one. We will continue to do what we are best known for.
