AMARU, Ann Marie (Gomez) At 55 years, in Epping & Atkinson, NH, formerly of Everett, following a long battle with metastatic cancer, August 9. Beloved wife of 30 years to Steven Amaru. Beloved mother of Kara Amaru & proud grandmother of Stevie Amaru all of Atkinson, NH. Cherished daughter of Emma (Saponaro) Gomez of Epping, NH & the late Raymond Gomez, Sr. Devoted sister of Raymond Gomez Jr, Bobbie Botticelli, Richard A. Gomez, Regina E. Gomez, all of Reading & William N. Gomez of Epping, NH. Also lovingly survived by many nieces, nephews, her mother in law, Esther Amaru of Reading, her sister in law, Mary Kasper of Easthampton, MA, & her brother in law, Walter Amaru of Taunton. Family & friends are invited to attend a Memorial Funeral Mass on Thursday, August 14, in Our Lady of Grace Church, Nichols St., (on the Chelsea-Everett line) at 10:30 a.m. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made to the National Kidney Foundation , 85 Astor Ave., Norwood, MA 02062. She will be remembered as a truly caring, loving & wonderful person.

    My how Ann Marie’s picture with her obituary brought us back over the years. A beautiful face and most important a “Beautiful Person”. Her pleasant demeanor and caring ways will be a lasting memory of her in our minds and hearts forever. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

We feel blessed that with all of the interest, the Vazza Family chose us to carry on their century old business and family name. We will become Vertuccio Smith & Vazza, Beechwood Home for Funerals. We will continue to honor the Vazza name and continue our commitment the same way that we always have. We also look forward to having both Louis Vazza and Jessica Vazza Ferragamo alongside of us, as we come together as one.
Our reputation has always been our biggest asset. For many years people always wanted us to have a larger facility, now our facility is the largest funeral home in the area. We will be making many beautiful upgrades to allow our families to have the most elegant facility to honor their loved one.
Although this announcement is bittersweet, as we say goodbye to our home, we are forever grateful for all of you for placing your constant faith and trust in us to care for your loved one. We will continue to do what we are best known for.
