Ann P. (Donnelly) Boyle

Family & friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Tuesday, February 23rd from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Vertuccio & Smith Boyle, Ann PHome for Funerals, 773 Broadway (Rte107) REVERE, for Ann P. (Donnelly) Boyle, who passed unexpectedly at the Whidden Memorial Hospital on Sunday, February 21st. Her funeral will be conducted from the funeral home on Wednesday, February 24th at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in the Immaculate Conception Church (corner of Beach ST.& Winthrop Ave.) REVERE at 10:30 a.m.

 

 

Ann was born & raised in Everett & was an alumna of the Cheverus Catholic High School, Class of 1950. The mother of seven children, they were members of the Immaculate Conception Parish Community, sending all of her children there for their education. Ann was active in many of the fundraising activities and functions, for the development of the new convent in the early sixties. She was the proud Past President of the Immaculata Guild of the Parish from 1980–1981. Ann worked for over 25 years, with the medical records department at Whidden Memorial Hospital, establishing & maintaining many treasured friendships. She was the essence of busy. However, she would want to be remembered as the “quintessential” Grandmother, always happy to be with and do for her grandchildren. Her beloved husband of 62 years, James J. Boule Jr. passed on March 12, 2015.

 

 

She is the devoted mother of James J. Boyle, III and his wife, Maureen D. of Saugus, Mary E. Boyle of Everett, Ann P. Janowski & her husband, John S. of Peabody, Kathy T, McCarthy & her husband, Ed of Littleton, John J. Boyle & his late wife Jennifer of Hooksett, NH., Matthew J. Boyle & his wife Michelle of Boxford & Elizabeth A. Liberatore & her husband, Robert of Bradford. She is also lovingly survived by her 15 adoring Grandchildren, & many nieces & nephews. She is the dear sister to Edward M. Donnelly of N.H., & the late, Mary E. Rumson & the late Maurice D. Donnelly, Jr. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. We feel blessed that with all of the interest, the Vazza Family chose us to carry on their century old business and family name. We will become Vertuccio Smith & Vazza, Beechwood Home for Funerals. We will continue to honor the Vazza name and continue our commitment the same way that we always have. We also look forward to having both Louis Vazza and Jessica Vazza Ferragamo alongside of us, as we come together as one.
Our reputation has always been our biggest asset. For many years people always wanted us to have a larger facility, now our facility is the largest funeral home in the area. We will be making many beautiful upgrades to allow our families to have the most elegant facility to honor their loved one.
Although this announcement is bittersweet, as we say goodbye to our home, we are forever grateful for all of you for placing your constant faith and trust in us to care for your loved one. We will continue to do what we are best known for.
