Born & raised in East Boston, Ann was an alumna of East Boston High School, Class of 1931. She came to live in Revere, 75 years ago, when she married Roger A. Giglio, who passed in December of 1992. She worked for over 30 years, with the former Liberty Market of East Boston as a lead cashier remaining with them until the store closed. Liberty Market was owned & operated by the Lombardo Family, friends of the Reppucci Family. Locally in Revere, back in the late fifties & early sixties she was a clerk for the former, Russo’s Bakery, on Broadway, Revere, now Luberto’s Bakery. For many of the years at Liberty Market, all of Ann’s sisters worked with her, namely, Eleanor, Carmella & Lucy. Back in the seventies, eighties and early nineties, the family knew where to locate the Reppucci Girls, especially on a Saturday. (All had married and taken their marriage names), however, they were always referred to as the Reppucci Girls. Ann was also a devotee of the Immaculate Conception Parish Community, Revere , always active in the Immaculata Guild of the IC School & Maria Assunta Guild, Ann chaired the annual IC Fall Bazaar for several years. She & her late husband, Roger, he, an usher for IC & active member of the Holy Name Society, were most generous to the church, especially at the time of the building of the new
Church in 1990.
Ann is the devoted mother to, Roger C. Giglio & his wife Maryanne of Revere, Joyce C. Blais & her husband, Donald E. of Saugus & Carl D. Giglio of Revere. She is the cherished grandmother of Laura West & her husband, John of Litchfield, N.H., Christie Giglio of Derry, N.H., Michael A. Blais & his wife, Ali of Zurich, Switzerland, Jacqueline A. Blais of Leiden, Holland & Carolyn M. Blais of Los Angeles, CA. She is the dear sister & best friend to Lucy M. Salemme of Revere & the late, Eleanor Santoro, Carmella M. Elliott, Anthony A. “Tom” Repucci, John, Joseph & Evelyn Reppucci. She is also lovingly survived by her two (2) great-grandchildren, Emily & Colby, her 101 year old, special brother-in-law, Salvatore Santoro of Revere & many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces & grand-nephews. Interment will be in the family lot at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. Because of her strong faith & fondness for her IC Church, the family asks, that, rather than flowers, remembrances be made to the Restoration Fund at Immaculate Conception Church, 22 Lowe St., Revere,Ma. 02151.

Joyce,
We were saddened to see your mom’s obituary notice. We certainly would have attended, however, we are on vacation in Vegas/Los Angeles for 2 weeks. Our sympathies to you and your family.
Uncle Don, Aunty Joyce, Michael, Ali, Jackie and Carolyn,
I am very sorry for your loss. Your mother / grandmother was a lovely woman and she will be missed.
Love you all,

I am sorry to hear about the loss of your dear loved one. God’s words at 1 Corinthians 15:26 says The last enemy death, is brought to nothing. God hates death. He has a yearning to end it. ( Isaiah 25:8) May God’s words bring some comfort to you and your family. My prayers are with you and your family.
Roger, Joyce, & Carl & all the family, sending sympathies to all of you in the loss of a special lady your Mom. Her smile and caring way was always there for everyone. Her love of her life has been waiting a long time to be together again and know they are. May she RIP.
Love, Mary & Scott Blake
Carl, Roger, Joyce and family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. The ones we love are never gone but live within our hearts. May you know peace and comfort. God bless.
