Anna H. (Smith) Zanstuck
Visiting Hours are on Monday July 16th, beginning at 9 a.m., in the Vertuccio and Smith Home for Funerals, 773 Broadway ( Route 107) Revere, for Anna H. (Smith) Zanstuck, who died unexpectedly on Thursday, July 12th at the Whidden Memorial Hospital, Everett. Her funeral will follow the visitation at St. Anthony of Padua Church, Revere at 11 a.m., followed by interment in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Boston. Mrs. Zanstuck was born in Boston and lived in Charlestown for over 86 years. In 2004, the family moved to Revere. Mrs. Zanstuck worked for over 15 years with the Schrafft’s Candy Company , as a candy inspector & packer. After Schrafft’s closed its doors, she secured a position with the former Jordan Marsh Co. of Boston, as a buyer’s assistant, retiring from there, after 10 years of service. A deeply religious woman, she had been a faithful parishioner of St. Frances De Sales Church in Charlestown and then when she moved to Revere , joined St. Anthony of Padua, in Revere. She was the widow early in life, when her husband, John J. Zanstuck, Sr. died suddenly on February 22nd, 1965 at 48 years. She is the devoted mother of: Carol Anne Zanstuck & Marie F. Zanstuck, both of Revere, MA and John J. Zanstuck, III and his wife Deborah of Weymouth, MA. She is also the cherished grandmother of Matthew S. & Scott J. Zanstuck both of Pembroke, MA and John J. Zanstuck, IV of Weymouth, MA. She is the dear sister of : Antoinette Primerano, Jennie Smith, both of Arlington, MA, Helen Bushee of Middleton, MA & the late Micheal & Frank Smith. Many loving nieces and nephews and grand nieces and grand nephews also survive her.
