Family & friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Thursday, April 4th, 2013 in the Vertuccio & Smith Home for Funerals, 773 Broadway (Route 107), Revere, from 4 – 8 p.m., for Anna L. (Losco) O’Donnell, who died on Easter Sunday, March 31st, following a long illness at the Oosterman’s Rest Home of Wakefield, at 93 years.  Her funeral will be conducted from the funeral home on Friday, April 5th at 9 a.m., followed by a funeral mass in St. Anthony of Padua Church, Revere at 10 a.m.  Born & raised in Revere, she attended Revere schools & was a life-long resident of Revere until moving to Melrose for about 15 years.  She had a 27-year career in sales at Filene’s in Boston, from where she retired.  She was a member of the Filene’s Quarter Century Club, the St. Anthony’s Ladies’ Sodality, the Revere Smart Set, & the Revere Patriot Club.  She was the wife of the late, Paul T. O’Donnell, who died in July of 1970.  She is the Cherished mother of Kathleen A. Milligan & husband, Dr. Richard J. Milligan, DDM of Revere, & Attorney Paul R. O’Donnell & his wife, Ann B. of Reading.  She is the devoted Grandmother of: Karen M. Milligan-Frost & her husband Matthew Frost of Arlington, Paul W. O’Donnell of Reading, Erin A. O’Donnell & her fiancee, Ben Gibson of Andover, & Kimberly A. O’Donnell of Charlestown.  She is the dear Sister to: Dr. John Losco of Lynnfield, former Superintendent of Revere Schools, & the late Palmira Losco.  She was the mother-in-law of the late, June Losco.  She is also lovingly survived by several nieces & nephews.  Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.  In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 480 Pleasant St., Watertown, MA 02472.

Funeral Mass

Friday, April 5th, 2013 at 10 a.m. in St. Anthony of Padua Church, Revere.

Interment

Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.

We feel blessed that with all of the interest, the Vazza Family chose us to carry on their century old business and family name. We will become Vertuccio Smith & Vazza, Beechwood Home for Funerals. We will continue to honor the Vazza name and continue our commitment the same way that we always have. We also look forward to having both Louis Vazza and Jessica Vazza Ferragamo alongside of us, as we come together as one.
Our reputation has always been our biggest asset. For many years people always wanted us to have a larger facility, now our facility is the largest funeral home in the area. We will be making many beautiful upgrades to allow our families to have the most elegant facility to honor their loved one.
Although this announcement is bittersweet, as we say goodbye to our home, we are forever grateful for all of you for placing your constant faith and trust in us to care for your loved one. We will continue to do what we are best known for.
