Anthony R. Addario

Family & friends are invited to attend Visiting Hours in the Vertuccio & Smith, Home for Funerals, 773 Broadway, REVERE on Friday, March 12th from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.  p.m., for Anthony R. Addario who died unexpectedly on Sunday, March 7th, he was 34 years old.

Face masks must be worn at all times & social distancing must be maintained in the funeral home. All attendees are required to provide their name and phone number for contact tracing and temperatures will be checked prior to entering the funeral home. Only 25 people are allowed in the Funeral Home at one time. Guests are asked to visit briefly and to exit the funeral home to allow others to enter.

Funeral Services & interment will be held privately.

Anthony was born in Cambridge and he was raised & educated in Revere. He knew his calling early on in life and attended North East Regional Vocational School in Wakefield studying Plumbing. Anthony played baseball & football for the “Golden Knights” he was voted a 3-time offensive lineman in football. He was a proud alumnus of the North East Regional Vocational School, Class of 2004. He immediately began working in the plumbing field and began to master his craft. He eventually, after years of hard work, owned his own plumbing business, Anthony Addario Plumbing & Heating, which he had been operating for the past several years. Anthony moved to Attleboro, where he has spent the past 10 years. He lived there with his fiancé Kara & his daughter Mia. Anthony was a genuine friend and was special to so many people. He was selfless & would always give of himself to help anyone. He was active in recovery, where he would sponsor others or simply check in on them & often give words of encouragement. Anthony was a very talented and creative drawer, specializing in Marvel Comics. His favorite holiday was the Fourth of July, mainly because he was a fireworks enthusiast. He loved to watch firework displays. His favorite love & joy was his daughter, he always tried to be the best Dad, he could be.

He is the beloved son of Lori A. Addario. Loving & proud father of Mia G. Addario. Devoted fiancé Kara E. Sutherland. Cherished grandson of Lorraine C. Addario & the late Richard Addario. Dear brother of Jessica Pecora & her husband Albert, IV & Amanda Addario & her husband Noah Martinez. Special nephew & godson of Carmen Addario & his wife Phyllis & grandnephew of his godmother Joyce Bova Koster & her husband Peter & grandnephew of Angela Bova & grandnephew of Steven Addario, Sr. & his wife Elizabeth. Fun loving cousin of Gianna Langis & her husband Matt. Treasured uncle of Alyssa, Madyson, Emily, Joshua, Richard, Hayden, Lucas, Katherine. He is also lovingly survived by his fiancé’s mother Jo-Ann Butterfield & her husband Pascal & Tabitha Patrician along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and his extended friends who were his brothers.

Visiting Hours

Friday, March 12th from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

All other Funeral Services & Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be to the Brian Hamlin, Jr. Memorial Fund, Norfolk Community Federal Credit Union, 18 Union St., Suite 104, Norfolk, MA 02056.

    Kara, my heart is aching for you and your precious little Mia. I love you guys so much. You’ve always been one of my most favorite couples! My favorite memory of you is at your baby shower. The love between the two of you could be felt deeply. Just your smiles alone lit the entire room. Anthony has such a special soul and he’ll be missed by many people.
    To the rest of the family, my prayers and thoughts are with you. I lost my brother at the young age of 36. I am so, so sorry for your loss.

    Mia and Kara and family,
    Sorry for your loss. He loved you all very much. He was a good neighbor that never seem to be upset when I teased him. My heart goes out to all of you. I can’t believe he’s in Heaven now and gone from our life. If you need anything Kara and Mia let me know. He’s in all of your hearts where he is loved and safe. Our reputation has always been our biggest asset. For many years people always wanted us to have a larger facility, now our facility is the largest funeral home in the area. We will be making many beautiful upgrades to allow our families to have the most elegant facility to honor their loved one.
Although this announcement is bittersweet, as we say goodbye to our home, we are forever grateful for all of you for placing your constant faith and trust in us to care for your loved one. We will continue to do what we are best known for.
