Carmen A. Moretti
Services have been held for Carmen A. Moretti, of Revere, who died at the Mount Auburn Hospital, Cambridge on Saturday, March 22nd, unexpectedly at 88 years. Born & raised in Boston’s North End, he was educated in Boston Schools & entered the US Navy, in June of 1943 & served until April of 1946, as a Ship’s Cook, 2nd Class. He worked as a young man for the National Biscuit Co. of Boston & Converse Rubber Co., for many years. He retired in 1991 as a custodian from M.I.T. in Cambridge, after 12 years of service. He is the devoted & beloved husband of 63 years to RoseMarie A. “Babe” (LaCortiglia) Moretti, the couple lived in Beverly for over 30 years, before moving to Revere, 40 years ago. Besides his wife, he is lovingly survived by many nieces & nephews, grand nieces & grand nephews. He is the son pf the late John & Maria (Censale) Moretti. Interment was private.
