Domenica C. “Maggie” (Ferraro) Aloisi
Family & friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Sunday, January 10th, from 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. in the Vertuccio & Smith Home for Funerals, 773 Broadway (Rte. 107),REVERE for Domenica C. “Maggie” (Ferraro) Aloisi, who died on Wednesday, January 6th following a lengthy illness at her Revere residence. Her funeral will be conducted from the funeral home on Monday, January 11th at 10:00 a.m., followed by a funeral mass in St. Anthony of Padua Church, 250 Revere St, Revere at 11:00 a.m.
Born in Lynn, Ma, she was a life long Revere resident, graduating Revere High School, Class of 1943. “Maggie” as she was affectionately called, married in October of 1946 Giusto A. “Gus” Aloisi. The couple celebrated their 69th wedding anniversary this past October. A grand lady of the “old school”, she embodied all things family, i.e., an extraordinary housekeeper, an intrinsic gourmet cook, and a prize-winning baker. Among her family, extended family & friends, she will long be remembered for her gentle spirit and genuine loving persona.
She is the cherished mother of Domenic D. Aloisi & his wife, Linda of Uxbridge, Anthony Aloisi & his wife, Doreen M. of Revere & Robert D. Aloisi & his wife, Donna of No. Reading. She is the adoring grandmother to David D. Aloisi & his wife, Lisa of West Townsend, Ma., Susan M. Greene & her husband, Thomas of Douglas, Ma., Anthony R. Aloisi & his wife, Amie of Haverhill, Joseph D. Aloisi & his wife, Melissa of South Boston, Christina M. Aloisi, R.N. of Revere, Nicholas R. Aloisi of No. Reading, Matthew Aloisi of Atkinson, N.H. She is the faithful & dear sister to Anna L. McKinnon & her late husband, John of Revere & the late, Mary Costanzo, Lawrence L. & Joseph L. Ferraro. She is also lovingly survived by her brother-in-law, Andrew Costanzo of Burlington, formerly of Arlington & her sister-in-law Eileen Ferraro of Derry and her four great grandchildren, Michael A., Gabriella M., Gianna M. & Isabella D. Many nieces & nephews, grand-nieces & grand-nephews also survive her. “Maggie” was an active member of the Anthonian Club at St. Anthony’s Parish Community. Interment will
be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
