Our thoughts and prayers go out to you girls and the rest of the family. You have been blessed with such a beautiful set of parents. Just keep all those memories and they will always be with you.
Eddie and Joanie were such good friends to my parents. I have the warmest childhood memories of visits with them, and I always admired the deep affection Eddie held for my dad. He was an usher in my parents’ 1954 wedding and a lifelong devoted friend of our family. The world has lost a great educator, an outspoken champion for children, a loving family man, and a true gentleman. One of my favorite childhood photos is of me in the 60s cuddling with my stuffed collie dog, ‘FoxEd’ named after the ones who gifted it to me. Eddie and Joanie meant so much to my folks. May he find my dad waiting for him in Heaven with open arms. Mia and Nancy, may your fond memories give you strength and peace.
My deepest condolences to one of Revere’s finest families.
