He was elected to the Revere School Committee from 1961-1963 and served as a Revere City Councilor in the 1970s & was Past Council President. Late US Navy Veteran.
Lynnfield had a few good cops. Eddie was one of them.
He peeled up a dymo tape on a VIN belonging to a Buick LaSabre , on Route 1 and opened Pandora’s Box.
Sorry for your loss.
I worked with Ed at SP Lynnfield. It was always good to know he was out there with you. He had enough energy for ten troopers. It was always a comfort to know no matter what happened he was there backing you up. Many great memories. RIP
My deepest and heartfelt condolences to the O’Hara family. Ed was one of the Best. May he Rest in Peace.
Very sorry to hear of the passing of Eddie. I had the pleasure of working with Ed when I came to SP Lynnfield directly after leaving the Academy. He was a great teacher and when it came to stolen cars with altered VIN, he and Richard Sarnie were two of the best on the State Police. RIP Ed
