At 88 years, Long time employee of VNA & Life Long Revere resident. Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Friday January 27th, 2012, from 4 – 8 pm in the Vertuccio & Smith Home for Funerals, 773 Broadway (rte107), Revere for Eleanor A. “Ella” (Siciliano) Marino, who died following a brief illness at the Whidden Memorial Hospital, Everett on Monday January 23rd. A funeral will be conducted from the funeral home on Saturday, January 28th, 2012 at 9am, followed by a funeral mass at 10:00am. For over 35 years, “Ella” worked for the Visiting Nurses Association as Nurse’s Aide, caring for people in their homes. She retired at age 75. “Ella” lived here in Revere all of her lifetime and was a devotee of St. Anthony’s Parish. She leaves her beloved husband of almost 62 years, John J. Marino. She is the devoted mother of John J. Marino III and his wife, Sandra of Saugus and Michele Harter and her husband, Tracey of Long Beach, California. She is the Cherished grandmother of Jasmine G. Fiandaca and her husband, Keith of Saugus and the late, Christopher J. Considine. She is the dear sister of, Phyllis A Tata and her husband, former Revere City Councillor Pasquale “Pat” Tata of Revere and the late, Louis “Geno” Siciliano. She is also lovingly survived by her great-granddaughter, Sofia Fiandaca and many nieces, nephews, grand-neices and grand-nephes.

Visiting Hours

Family and friends are invited to attend on Friday January 27th, 2012 from 4-8pm.

Funeral Mass

Saturday, January 28th, 2012 at 10am
Saint Anthony of Padua Church in Revere MA.

Interment is private.

In lieu of flowers, rememberances may be made to Boston Visiting Nurses Association, 500 Rutherford Ave., Boston, MA 02129.

We feel blessed that with all of the interest, the Vazza Family chose us to carry on their century old business and family name. We will become Vertuccio Smith & Vazza, Beechwood Home for Funerals. We will continue to honor the Vazza name and continue our commitment the same way that we always have. We also look forward to having both Louis Vazza and Jessica Vazza Ferragamo alongside of us, as we come together as one.
Our reputation has always been our biggest asset. For many years people always wanted us to have a larger facility, now our facility is the largest funeral home in the area. We will be making many beautiful upgrades to allow our families to have the most elegant facility to honor their loved one.
Although this announcement is bittersweet, as we say goodbye to our home, we are forever grateful for all of you for placing your constant faith and trust in us to care for your loved one. We will continue to do what we are best known for.
