Elizabeth A. “Lee” (Scarpetti) Jalbert

Private Funeral Services will be held for longtime Revere resident, Elizabeth A. “Lee” (Scarpetti) Jalbert, who passed at her Revere residence, following a lengthy illness on March 21st, 2020.

She was an alumna of Revere High School, Class of 1943 & immediately went to work for the former Forbes Lithograph of Revere & Chelsea. “Lee” was placed in the currency unit- creating money for the war effort. As she told her family, many, many times, her job was exciting & never boring.

She was the wife of the late Hector H.” Jalbert, who passed on April 25, 2013, after 68 years of marriage. She is the cherished mother to Leslie A. Parechanian & & her husband, Dale F. of Revere & the late Sharon E. DeRenne. Devoted grandmother to Kristen A. DeRenne-Travelo & her husband, George M. of Merrimac, Janelle M. & Justin M. Parechanian, both of Revere & the adoring great-grandmother of Madison R. & Autumn L. Travelo, Cali B. Ryker L., Gabrielle, & Nate Travelo. Dear sister of the late, Mary Santsuosso & Anne M. Hurley. She is also lovingly survived by her son-in-law, Lawrence L. DeRenne of Merrimac, many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews & cousins. Admired daughter to the late Domizio Scarpetti & Bessie (Sherman) Scarpetti.

A family announcement will be made regarding place, date & time of a “Celebration of Life Ceremony” (Funeral Mass).


Services

Funeral Services & Interment in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett will be held Privately.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.

We also look forward to having both Louis Vazza and Jessica Vazza Ferragamo alongside of us, as we come together as one.
Our reputation has always been our biggest asset. For many years people always wanted us to have a larger facility, now our facility is the largest funeral home in the area. We will be making many beautiful upgrades to allow our families to have the most elegant facility to honor their loved one.
Although this announcement is bittersweet, as we say goodbye to our home, we are forever grateful for all of you for placing your constant faith and trust in us to care for your loved one. We will continue to do what we are best known for.
