Frances M. (Haas) Kleinfeldt
Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Thursday, January 5th, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.in the Vertuccio & Smith Home for Funerals, 773 Broadway (Rte. 107), REVERE for Frances M. (Haas) Kleinfeldt, who died on Saturday, December 31st, 2016 at her Beachmont residence. Although her health had been failing, her death was most unexpected. Her funeral will be held from the funeral home on Friday, January 6th at 9:00 a.m., followed by a funeral mass in the Immaculate Conception Church (Corner of Beach Street and Winthrop Avenue), REVERE at 10:00 a.m.
Frances was born in Winthrop, and lived all of her life in Beachmont, Revere, graduating in 1953 from Revere High School. A devoted Mom and Nanny first, she worked as a saleswoman for the Host Gift Shop at Logan Airport for over 25 years. She loved photographing every family celebration and making albums for each branch of the very large Haas clan. She also enjoyed bowling, Bingo, playing cards, collecting a variety of souvenirs from around the world, especially unique spoons, and entertaining her friends, relatives, and co-workers in her home.
She was the widow of the late Ronald Kleinfeldt. She is the devoted and much beloved mother to Katherine M. Kleinfeldt and Kim Kleinfeldt-Silva-Gidaris and her husband, John Gidaris, with whom she shared her house in Beachmont. Her love for and devotion to them has been returned with equal measure of love and care. She is the proud and cherished Nanny of Kirsten M. Silva and her husband, Matthew Walkey of Salisbury, Ma. She is the dear sister of Helen R. Haas and her husband, Leroy Sidman of Desert Hot Springs, CA; and the late Doris K. Simpson, Robert J. Haas Sr., Frederick Haas Jr., Henry Haas, Arthur Haas, Warren Haas, and Alice Dowd. She is also lovingly survived by her two childhood friends, Carol A. Tye of Revere and Mary Lou Hayes of Charlestown; many loving nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews, and neighbors who have treasured her companionship for years. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
Although it’s been many years I still have many find memories of Frannie. May she Rest In Peace.
Aunt Frannie will be deeply missed. Sending all of our thoughts and prayers to Kathy and Kim.
