Frank “Archie” Orcione
Family & friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Thursday, February 28th, 2013 from 4 – 8 p.m. in the Vertuccio & Smith Home for Funerals, 773 Broadway (Route 107), Revere, for Frank “Archie” Orcione, who died on Tuesday, February 26th at the Lighthouse Nursing Care Center of Revere, following a long illness, at 87 years. The funeral will be conducted from the funeral home on Friday, March 1st at 9 a.m., followed by the funeral service in the Funeral Home at 10 a.m., followed by interment in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. Born & raised in Chelsea, he attended school there & then moved with his family to East Boston. He remained in East Boston until 1964, when he & his family moved to Revere. For most of his working career, he was a finish carpenter for the Carpenter’s Union Local #218. He was a long-time member of the 5-2 Club of Chelsea, where he was also a Past President. “Archie” spent much of his retirement hours at the 5-2 Club, socializing & reminiscing. He is the husband of Gloria (Sciarappa) Orcione of Revere. He is the Devoted Father of, Richard F. Orcione & his wife, Ana of San Diego, California, & Thomas W. Orcione & his wife, Kelly of Plymouth. He is the Cherished Grandfather of Renee D. Orcione of Plymouth, Bianca, Flaviana & Ana-Nicole Orcione all of San Diego, CA. He is the dear brother of: Paul Orcione of Ipswich, Donald Orcione of Gloucester, & the late: Eda A. “Chickie” Giovanni-DiGiovanni, William P. & Americo Orcione, Eva D’Alessandro & Mary Dennis. He is also lovingly survived by his great-grandson, Kaydin, & many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces & grand-nephews.
