Frederick Lavorati

Funeral Services were held privately for Frederick Lavorati, who passed away unexpectedly on Thanksgiving Day, November 26th in his Lynn residence. He was 70 years of age.

Born & Raised in Chelsea. Fred was an Alumnus of Chelsea High School, Class of 1969. He worked as a Heavy-Duty Mechanic for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for 30 years before his retirement. Fred was an avid hunter & fisherman and enjoyed spending time with his family and spending time up in Maine.

He is the cherished father of Traci C. DeMarco & her husband Christopher & Frederick J. Lavorati, all of Peabody. Proud grandfather to Christopher J. DeMarco & Bethany E. DeMarco, both of Peabody. He is also lovingly survived by his former wife, Karen A. (Christopher) Lavorati, many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces & grand-nephews. Frederick was one of seven born to the late Thomas & Estella (Rovinski) Lavorati.


Funeral Services were held Privately.

Remembrances may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 60 Walnut St., Wellesley Hills, MA 02481.

    Sorry to hear about Fred‘s passing my condolences to
    Fred’s family. I worked with Fred at the HOV lane for 10 years.
    He was a very talented guy, I learned many things from Fred over the years. We had a lot of laughs and fun. I am grateful that I new him. The HOV lane was never the same when he retired in 2015. He did a lot for the state and the HOV Lane. He will be missed. I will pray the chaplet of divine Mercy and rosary for him. God bless!

    neighbor. He was always there to help out.
    He liked to Pretend he was the curmudgeon of the
    neighborhood But he was always the best guy, there for everyone!

    So sorry to hear of the passing of your dad Tracie. Fred meant alot to us. He was a great neighbor who was always there with a helping hand. He was so talented and was a tremendous help to us with our home improvements. We will never forget the unconditional time he gave us. May he rest in peace! God bless you and your family

    I was saddened to hear of Fred’s passing. I was fortunate to know him and enjoy his company at the Hunters Club, Twisted Stump Lodge. Maine, for over 30 years. I will remember all the good times we had together at camp. You and Fred are in my thoughts and prayers.

Although this announcement is bittersweet, as we say goodbye to our home, we are forever grateful for all of you for placing your constant faith and trust in us to care for your loved one. We will continue to do what we are best known for.
