Family & friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Wednesday, November 7th, 2012 from 4 – 8 p.m. in the Vertuccio & Smith Home for Funerals, 773 Broadway (Route 107), Revere, for George F. Buccheri, Jr. who died unexpectedly on Friday, November 2nd at his home, at 54 years.  A funeral will be conducted from the funeral home on Thursday, November 8th at 10 a.m., followed by a funeral mass in St. Anthony of Padua Church, Revere at 11 a.m.  Mr. Buccheri was born in Medford & lived all his life in Revere.  He was an alumnus of the Wakefield Vocational School, Class of 1977.  Most of his career was spent as a finish carpenter & the past ten years with the Revere School System.  George also was a volunteer and worker for the Revere Special Needs Program.  He is the beloved husband of Joanne A. (Brandano) Buccheri.  He is the Devoted son to George F. Buccheri, Sr. & Eileen D. (Coppola) Buccheri.  He is also the cherished father of George J. Buccheri of Revere, Jamie L. Delaney &  her husband, Daniel of Andover, NH, Phyllis G. Buccheri of Utica, NY & Jessica M. Buccheri of Lynn.  He is the dear brother of Peter Buccheri of Maine & David Buccheri & his wife, Joyce of Danvers.  He is the adoring Grandfather of: Nathaniel A. Lawler of Revere, Dominick F. & Dante R. Delaney both of Andover, NH, & Amollia M. White of Utica, NY.  He is also lovingly survived by his Mother-in-law, Joyce Brandano of Oswego, NY & many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nephews & Nieces.  Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.  In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to: The Revere Special Needs Program, 101 School St., Revere, MA 02151.

We will continue to honor the Vazza name and continue our commitment the same way that we always have. We also look forward to having both Louis Vazza and Jessica Vazza Ferragamo alongside of us, as we come together as one.
Our reputation has always been our biggest asset. For many years people always wanted us to have a larger facility, now our facility is the largest funeral home in the area. We will be making many beautiful upgrades to allow our families to have the most elegant facility to honor their loved one.
Although this announcement is bittersweet, as we say goodbye to our home, we are forever grateful for all of you for placing your constant faith and trust in us to care for your loved one. We will continue to do what we are best known for.
