Grayce J. (Murphy) Borgatti

Family & friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Monday, August 4th, 2014 from 3 – 8 p.m., in the Vertuccio & Smith Home for Funerals, 773 Broadway (Route 107), Revere, for Grayce J. (Murphy) Borgatti, who died on Wednesday, July 30th at Epoch Nursing Center of Melrose, following a long illness.  Her funeral will be conducted from the funeral home on Tuesday, August 5th at 9:30 a.m., followed by a funeral mass in Our Lady of Grace Church at 10:30 a.m.  Born & raised in Revere, she was a 1944 alumna of Revere High School.  She moved to  Chelsea when she married & remained there for over 50 years.  Her beloved late husband, Louis F. Borgatti, died in September of 2006.  She was the dedicated mother of four: Richard L. Borgatti & his wife Belinda of Revere, Linda M. Borgatti – DiCarlo & her husband Dennis of Stoneham, Thomas F. Borgatti & his wife Marie, & Nancy A. Krouse & her husband Phillip, all of Peabody.  She is the dear sister of Joanne Reppucci of Revere & the late: Robert F. & Paul E. Murphy.  She is also lovingly survived by thirteen grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren & many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces & grand-nephews.  Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.  In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 480 Pleasant St., Watertown, MA 02472.

Tuesday, August 5th, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace Church, Chelsea.

Interment

Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 480 Pleasant St., Watertown, MA 02472.

We feel blessed that with all of the interest, the Vazza Family chose us to carry on their century old business and family name. We will become Vertuccio Smith & Vazza, Beechwood Home for Funerals. We will continue to honor the Vazza name and continue our commitment the same way that we always have. We also look forward to having both Louis Vazza and Jessica Vazza Ferragamo alongside of us, as we come together as one.
Our reputation has always been our biggest asset. For many years people always wanted us to have a larger facility, now our facility is the largest funeral home in the area. We will be making many beautiful upgrades to allow our families to have the most elegant facility to honor their loved one.
Although this announcement is bittersweet, as we say goodbye to our home, we are forever grateful for all of you for placing your constant faith and trust in us to care for your loved one. We will continue to do what we are best known for.
