So sorry for your loss…..He was a great guy…Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Yesterday my family and I lost a pillar in our family. My papa “Jimmy” was one of the most caring and loving people I have ever known. He has taught me so much about life and how to be happy. Life for me and my family will never be the same. I have never met someone so full of love and who would share that love with anyone and everyone who needed it the most. Our door was always open to anyone who needed a place to stay or a meal to eat. To Papa, when you were in his house you were part of our family. It’s hard not to smile when I think about my Papa. I remember getting up early to go to work with him at our gas station and how I would hound him to help me get the filter ready for our pool before it got too hot out. I remember sitting outside in our driveway repairing broken cars together. I have so many great memories of him that I could go on and on. But, what I remember most is just sitting with him and talking. I could talk to him for hours and hours and never get bored. Time would just fly by and we enjoyed every minute of each other. Papa, what I will miss most is seeing you sitting on the other end of the kitchen table. I love you always. Until we meet again…
