Jennie L. Fulco

Family & friends are invited to attend a Memorial Funeral Mass on Tuesday, July 18th at 10:30 a.m. for Jennie L. Fulco, in the Immaculate Conception Church (Corner of Beach St. & Winthrop Ave.), REVERE. Miss Fulco died on Thursday, July 6, 2017 at her Chelsea Residence following a long illness.

Born & raised in East Boston, her  family moved to Chelsea over 70 years ago. Miss Fulco spent her entire career in the garment industry (Boston’s Garment District), as a seamstress.

She was the daughter of the late Calogero & Carmella (Lazzaro) Fulco. She is the devoted sister of Josephine Vitale & her late husband Robert, Grace Navarro & her late husband Pat “Nicky” & Michael “Mike” Fulco & his wife Margaret “Peggy”, all of Chelsea & the late Domenica Medige, Lena & her late husband, Anthony “Tony” Stec, Charles Fulco & his late wife Virginia, Salvatore Fulco & Frank Fulco. She is also lovingly survived by her sisters-in-law Helen Fulco of Revere & Rosalie Fulco of Cailfornia. An extended family of cherished nieces, nephews, grand-nieces & grand-nephews, who loved & respected her as their second mother also survive her. Interment will be held privately.

On September 30th, 2022, we proudly purchased the Vazza “Beechwood” Funeral Home – DiPietro and Vazza, Inc. A name that has served families for 102 years. We feel blessed that with all of the interest, the Vazza Family chose us to carry on their century old business and family name. We will become Vertuccio Smith & Vazza, Beechwood Home for Funerals. We will continue to honor the Vazza name and continue our commitment the same way that we always have. We also look forward to having both Louis Vazza and Jessica Vazza Ferragamo alongside of us, as we come together as one.
Our reputation has always been our biggest asset. For many years people always wanted us to have a larger facility, now our facility is the largest funeral home in the area. We will be making many beautiful upgrades to allow our families to have the most elegant facility to honor their loved one.
Although this announcement is bittersweet, as we say goodbye to our home, we are forever grateful for all of you for placing your constant faith and trust in us to care for your loved one. We will continue to do what we are best known for.
