Jack was born & raised in Boston’s West End. He attended Boston Public Schools and knew his calling from an early age. He enjoyed giving back and enjoyed working with people. Jack worked as a CNA at the Chelsea Soldiers Home for many years, then went to work at the Don Orione Home, now Advocate Healthcare of East Boston, where he has been for the past 25 years. He enjoyed working closely with his patients, which he became very fond of and they fond of him. Over the years of his career, he made many friendships, and it was the little things he did that made people love him. He was a selfless person and was always thinking of others. His presence will surely be missed.
He is survived by his niece who he made his home with Laura G. Nichols & her husband Vincent, her mother Roseanne Roberto & nephew Edward J. Roberto. Grandniece Lauvauni & grandnephew Vincent Nichols, all of Revere. He is also lovingly survived by his family at Advocate Healthcare of East Boston, and the many residents and co-workers as well.
You took care of my Mom when she was at the Oak Island Nursing Care Facility at the beach from October 1994 until until she passed in September of 1998. That facility later was closed and it was remodeled into a Condominium. My mother always would mention you when I visited her with my sweet Nino. I recall you telling me that she was a very nice lady. Thank you for your devoted care to her. God will reward you who cared for the sick and aged. Many may be welcoming you now into heaven. God Bless you Jack.
Remembering you Jack, as a wonderful friend and co- worker , always supported me , Will miss you my friend, as will , the people that you took such loving care of, Be with God now, and let Him care for you , Till we meet again, Love, Barbara
