An American soldier has died today. Rest with God, my friend.
From one of John’s fellow workers at the FDA laboratory: John was a pleasure to work and socialize with, and he set a courageous example for others to follow.
John worked as one of my sample custodians at the FDA, Winchester Engineering & Analytical Center where he maintained accountability for samples to be tested in the laboratory. I remember him best for his integrity in doing his job and for his courage in not letting his obvious handicap stand in the way of reporting for work every day. John also enjoyed lively discussions on many subjects and was not afraid of expressing his opinion. Although I am retired too, I’m sure John is greatly missed by his former fellow workers. He set a courageous example for others to follow.
