John T. Hegarty

Family & friends are invited to visit with family on Sunday, January 13th beginning at 12 noon in the Vertuccio and Smith Home for Funerals, 773 Broadway (Route 107), Revere for John T. Hegarty, who died unexpectedly at his Randolph residence on January 3rd.  His funeral service will be conducted in the funeral at 1:00 p.m.. Mr. Hegarty suffered an Acute Myocardial Infarction, upon returning from working the niteshift at Stop & Shop (Thursday January 3rd),  He had worked for  Stop & Shop as a foreman for the past four years.  Prior to that time, he worked in the roofing industry and for many years, worked with “Angelo’s Roofing” of Revere.  john was an avid boater and enjoyed his time on the ocean, sailing the harbor.  He is the beloved and faithful husband for 29 years to Lee M. (Frieder) of Randolph, He is the devoted brother to: Kathleen M. Walsh and Maureen A. Alinkonis both of Winthrop and the late Michael J. Hegarty.  He is the dear uncle of: Stefani Kosinski of Chelsea, Dianna (Walsh) of San Dieago, CA, Daniel & Andrew Walsh both of St. Petersburg, FL and Christopher, Nicholas & Ryan Alikonis all of Tewksbury.  He is the brother – In law of: Maryann Hegart of Revere , Ellen Spicuzza of Canton,  Laurance Walsh of Winthrop and Stephen Alikonis of Tewksbury.  He is the caring nephew of Robert o. Hegarty  & his wife Patricia of Tewksbury, Maryanne Giglio and her husband Roger of Revere,  Eileen M. Hegarty of New Bedford and the late Kevin M. Hegarty.  He was the beloved son of the late: John T. Hagerty, Sr. & Ruth (Liston) & the grandson of the late: Timothy & Anne T.
