Joseph Green, Jr.

Family & friends are invited to attend Visiting Hours on Thursday April 13th, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Vertuccio & Smith, Home for Funerals, 773 Broadway (Rte. 107), REVERE, for Joseph Green, Jr., who died unexpectedly on Saturday, April 8th after being stricken & taken to Whidden Memorial Hospital of Everett. His funeral will be conducted in the Funeral Home on Friday, April 14th. Family & friends may arrive at the Funeral Home on Friday any time after 12:00 p.m. (Noon). The Funeral Service will begin at 1:15 p.m.

Although Joseph was born in Delaware, he came to live in Revere as a young boy & was a 1977 alumnus of Revere High School. He had a fourteen-year career with Federal Express as a truck driver. He continued on with his career until health issues took hold & he was forced into early disability.

He is the son of the late Joseph Green, Sr. & Gladys T. (Vetree) Green. Adored & beloved husband to Lynda A. (McKinnon) Green. He is the cherished father of Joseph Green & his wife, Amanda of Revere, John R. McKinnon, Lynda L. McKinnon, all of Revere, John J. McKinnon & his wife, Amanda of Menifee, CA., & Jacqueline Cavallo & her husband, David of Londonderry, N.H. He is the dear brother of Dorothy I. Allen & her husband, Edward of Lawrence, John J. Green & his wife, Lizbeth of Revere & David B. Green & his wife, Kristin of Somerset, New Jersey. Joe is also lovingly survived by his eight grandchildren; Emily, Bianca, Arianna, Travis, Vincent, Angelo, Abigail & the late, Agostino. Interment is private.

We feel blessed that with all of the interest, the Vazza Family chose us to carry on their century old business and family name. We will become Vertuccio Smith & Vazza, Beechwood Home for Funerals. We will continue to honor the Vazza name and continue our commitment the same way that we always have. We also look forward to having both Louis Vazza and Jessica Vazza Ferragamo alongside of us, as we come together as one.
Our reputation has always been our biggest asset. For many years people always wanted us to have a larger facility, now our facility is the largest funeral home in the area. We will be making many beautiful upgrades to allow our families to have the most elegant facility to honor their loved one.
Although this announcement is bittersweet, as we say goodbye to our home, we are forever grateful for all of you for placing your constant faith and trust in us to care for your loved one. We will continue to do what we are best known for.
