Karl E. N. “Wolf” Warren

Family & friends are invited to attend a Memorial Funeral Mass on Saturday, August 8th at 1:00 p.m., in St. Anthony of Padua Church, 250 Revere St., Revere for Karl E. N. “Wolf” Warren, who died on Saturday, July 25th at the Big Bend Hospice House in Tallahassee, Florida following a second battle with cancer, he was 54 years old.

Karl was born & raised in Revere and was an alumnus of Pope John XXIII High School, Class of 1984. Karl enrolled at the Bolivar Aviation Academy, where he studied Aviation & became a licensed Pilot. It was one of many goals he achieved by following his passions. For most of his life Karl lived “on the road” whether he was driving a Truck or Tour Bus. Karl worked for Swift Trucking for many years & later for Senator Tour Company. Karl worked with many popular celebrities & bands while they were touring the country.  Karl had the privilege of driving for Elton John, One Direction, Heart, Metallica, Chris Robinson Brotherhood, just to name a few. Karl loved being on the road and he was known as “Wolf”. He was remembered by whomever he worked with as being a very generous & giving friend. He was kind to anyone he met and treated everyone  as he wanted to be treated. His kind personality was what defined him as a person. If you were Karl’s friend, then you were blessed with his genuine and kind heart. Karl’s biggest passion was being a “lover” of country music, he wasn’t just a fan, he was a super fan who lived it. He will be missed by many of the friends he made on the road across the United States.

He is the proud & beloved son of Edward D.N. “Ned” & Emily F. (Cafarelli) Warren of Revere. Devoted life partner of Michael Quick of Tallahassee, FL. Loving brother of Eric J. Warren & wife Sandra of Nahant & Nicole W. Nichols & husband Brian G. of Swampscott. Cherished uncle of Joseph, Dean & Eva Warren, all of Nahant & Camron, Vienna M. & Garrett B. Nichols, all of Swampscott. He is also lovingly survived by many aunts & uncles, both living & deceased.

To all our families, friends, and residents of Revere, East Boston, and surrounding communities of the North Shore,

We would like to announce that after 37 years of caring for thousands of families at our 773 Broadway location, on January 31st, 2023 we will be officially RELOCATING, to our new location at 262 Beach St., Revere.
On September 30th, 2022, we proudly purchased the Vazza “Beechwood” Funeral Home – DiPietro and Vazza, Inc. A name that has served families for 102 years. We feel blessed that with all of the interest, the Vazza Family chose us to carry on their century old business and family name. We will become Vertuccio Smith & Vazza, Beechwood Home for Funerals. We will continue to honor the Vazza name and continue our commitment the same way that we always have. We also look forward to having both Louis Vazza and Jessica Vazza Ferragamo alongside of us, as we come together as one.
Our reputation has always been our biggest asset. For many years people always wanted us to have a larger facility, now our facility is the largest funeral home in the area. We will be making many beautiful upgrades to allow our families to have the most elegant facility to honor their loved one.
Although this announcement is bittersweet, as we say goodbye to our home, we are forever grateful for all of you for placing your constant faith and trust in us to care for your loved one. We will continue to do what we are best known for.
Thank you for your friendship and continued support.
God bless you all.
Faithfully,

Your friends at Vertuccio Smith and Vazza.
