Kathleen M. (Crosby) Landry-Ottomaniello

Family & friends are invited to attend a Graveside Funeral Service at Woodlawn Cemetery, 302 Elm St., Everett on Friday, July 24th at 1:00 p.m. for Kathleen M. (Crosby) Landry-Ottomaniello, who died following a lengthy illness on Saturday, July 11th at the Holyoke kathycrosbyHeath Care Center of Holyoke, MA.

 

 

Born in Chelsea, she was raised and educated in Revere, graduating Revere High School, Class of 1963. Kathy also attended the Chelsea Soldiers’ Home School of Nursing and earned a degree in Practical Nursing as an LPN. She worked at the Chelsea Soldiers Home for over 20 years, when she moved to Holyoke MA and completed her career until retirement at the Holyoke Soldiers’ Home in 2011. Kathy was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary American Legion Post #61 of Revere for several years.

 

 

She was the wife of the late Lowell D. Landry and David Ottomaniello. She is the beloved mother of Lisa A. Landry of Wakefield, Cheryl A. Ottersburg and her husband John of Holyoke, James D. Landry of Holyoke, Sean J. Landry and his wife Nicole of Amesbury. She is the dear sister of Joseph W. Crosby and his wife Genevieve M. “Jeannie” of South Attleboro, formerly of Revere, Retired Revere Auxiliary Police Deputy James F. Crosby and his wife Patricia J. of St. Cloud, FL, formerly of New Bedford and Revere, Robert Crosby and his wife Sally of Concord, NH and the late Kevin J. Crosby. She is also lovingly survived by her six (6) grandchildren; Alysa, John, Katelyn, Donovan, Trevor and Jacoby & many nieces and nephews.

On September 30th, 2022, we proudly purchased the Vazza “Beechwood” Funeral Home – DiPietro and Vazza, Inc. A name that has served families for 102 years. We feel blessed that with all of the interest, the Vazza Family chose us to carry on their century old business and family name. We will become Vertuccio Smith & Vazza, Beechwood Home for Funerals. We will continue to honor the Vazza name and continue our commitment the same way that we always have. We also look forward to having both Louis Vazza and Jessica Vazza Ferragamo alongside of us, as we come together as one.
Our reputation has always been our biggest asset. For many years people always wanted us to have a larger facility, now our facility is the largest funeral home in the area. We will be making many beautiful upgrades to allow our families to have the most elegant facility to honor their loved one.
Although this announcement is bittersweet, as we say goodbye to our home, we are forever grateful for all of you for placing your constant faith and trust in us to care for your loved one. We will continue to do what we are best known for.
