Lena R. “Lee” (Aldorisio) Bailey

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend Visiting Hours on Wednesday, December 8th from 10:00 a.m. thru 12:00 p.m. (Noon) in the Vertuccio & Smith, Home for Funerals, 773 Broadway (Rte. 107) REVERE for Lena R. “Lee” (Aldorisio) Bailey, who passed following a lengthy illness at Woodhaven of Tewksbury on Saturday, December 4th. Her Funeral Service will be conducted in the Funeral Home, following the visitation, at 12:15 p.m., and immediately followed with interment at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. Parking available left of the funeral home.

Mrs. Bailey was born and raised in Revere and attended Revere Schools. She lived in Revere until 1962, when the family moved to Tewksbury, where she remained until her passing. She was a longtime member of the Immaculate Conception Parish Community.

She was the beloved wife of the late Francis J. Bailey, VI, who passed in April of 1984. She is the cherished mother of Beverly A. Daigle of Revere, Patricia L. Bailey of Coral Gables, FL & the late Carolyn Joyce Bailey.  Lee is also the proud grandmother of many grandchildren, many more great grandchildren & 4 great-great grandchildren. On this coming May 2nd, 2022, Lee would have observed her 100th birthday. She is the devoted sister of Donald Aldo & his wife Rose of Malden & the late Angelina Aldorisio, Joseph Aldorisio, Vincent A. Aldorisio, Louise Butare, Edward Aldorisio, Eleanor Hart, Robert Aldorisio, Harold “Harry” Aldo & Josephine Turpin. Many nieces, nephews, grandnieces & grandnephews also survive her.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105-9959.

On September 30th, 2022, we proudly purchased the Vazza “Beechwood” Funeral Home – DiPietro and Vazza, Inc. A name that has served families for 102 years. We feel blessed that with all of the interest, the Vazza Family chose us to carry on their century old business and family name. We will become Vertuccio Smith & Vazza, Beechwood Home for Funerals. We will continue to honor the Vazza name and continue our commitment the same way that we always have. We also look forward to having both Louis Vazza and Jessica Vazza Ferragamo alongside of us, as we come together as one.
Our reputation has always been our biggest asset. For many years people always wanted us to have a larger facility, now our facility is the largest funeral home in the area. We will be making many beautiful upgrades to allow our families to have the most elegant facility to honor their loved one.
Although this announcement is bittersweet, as we say goodbye to our home, we are forever grateful for all of you for placing your constant faith and trust in us to care for your loved one. We will continue to do what we are best known for.
