Lillian (Bevilacqua) LaCava

Family & friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Tuesday, August 4th beginning at 9 a.m. in the Vertuccio & Smith Home for Funerals, 773 Broadway, (Rte. 107), REVERE, followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Anthony of Padua Church, 250 Revere St., Revere at 11 a.m., followed by interment at Woodlawn Cemetery.


Mrs. LaCava was born and raised in Revere and was a 1933 alumna of Revere High School. The Bevilacqua family was a long-time supporter and attendee at St. Anthony’s Parish for over 100 years. Mrs. LaCava was director of the Bingo Game for many years and a member of the former Anthonian Club. Her late husband, Robert J. LaCava died in October of 1974.


She is the devoted mother of Roberta A. Bengtson of Atlanta, GA & Richard C. LaCava & wife Judith of Carver, MA & Myrtle Beach, SC. Cherished grandmother of Christopher J. LaCava & wife Eliza Loyola of Driftwood, TX & Kristina A. Bengtson of Lilburn, GA. Dear sister of Joseph Bevilacqua & Gilda Mercurio, both of Revere, & the late Laura M. Bevilacqua, retired Revere Fire Lt., Alexander Drinkwater, Mary Compiano & Charles Bevilacqua. Also lovingly survived by her two great-grandchildren, Emiliano G. & Sicilia A. LaCava & many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces & grand-nephews.
