Family & friends are invited to attend a Memorial Funeral Mass on Thursday, June 26th, 2014 at 11 a.m. in St. Anthony of Padua Church, 250 Revere St., Revere, for Louis Minichiello, who died following a lengthy illness at Lighthouse Nursing Care Center of Revere on Saturday, June 21st, at 92 years.  The Funeral Mass will be followed by interment in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.  Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.  Mr. Minichiello would have celebrated his 93rd birthday on June 26th, the day of his funeral.  Mr. Minichiello was born & came to live in Revere as a young boy.  He attended Revere schools.  Most of his life was in the construction field, especially as a “Large Crane Operator,” for U.S. Gypsum for over 25 years.  He is the father of: Danielle Singer-Turner-Butler of Lynn, Robert A. Minichiello of Revere, Celina DiChiara & her husband Ciriaco, & Louis “Rany” Minichiello & his wife Silvanna, all of Naples, Italy.  He is the dear brother of Louise Saldi of Peabody, & the late: Joseph, Anthony, Frank, Michael, John, & Carmen Minichiello, & Rose Rolanti & Mary Gruszeski.  He is also lovingly survived by 9 grandchildren, 1 great-granddaughter, his devoted & faithful niece Camilla Tosi & her husband Robert L. Tosi of Arlington, & many other nieces, nephews, grand-nieces & grand-nephews, & his beloved sister-in-law Irene Minichiello of Revere.  In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to your favorite charity.

We feel blessed that with all of the interest, the Vazza Family chose us to carry on their century old business and family name. We will become Vertuccio Smith & Vazza, Beechwood Home for Funerals. We will continue to honor the Vazza name and continue our commitment the same way that we always have. We also look forward to having both Louis Vazza and Jessica Vazza Ferragamo alongside of us, as we come together as one.
Our reputation has always been our biggest asset. For many years people always wanted us to have a larger facility, now our facility is the largest funeral home in the area. We will be making many beautiful upgrades to allow our families to have the most elegant facility to honor their loved one.
Although this announcement is bittersweet, as we say goodbye to our home, we are forever grateful for all of you for placing your constant faith and trust in us to care for your loved one. We will continue to do what we are best known for.
