Luis A. Landaverde-Castaneda

Family & friends are invited to attend Visiting Hours on Monday, July 12th from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., in the Vertuccio & Smith, Home for Funerals, 773 Broadway (Rte. 107) REVERE for Luis A. Landaverde – Castaneda, who died in the love & presence of his family on Thursday, July 8th at his home in Saugus, following a long battle with cancer, he was 56 years old. A funeral will be conducted from the Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 13th at 11:30 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church (Corner of Beach St. & Winthrop Ave.) REVERE at 12:30 p.m., followed by interment in Riverside Cemetery, Saugus.

Luis was a native of Citalá, El Salvador. He was raised & educated in El Salvador. He came to the United States as a young man with a fierce work ethic and a bright outlook for the future of him and his family. Luis worked all of his working career in landscaping. He worked for many years at Northeastern Landscaping as a laborer. Luis was a dedicated family man with an extraordinary work ethic. He did all he could do to provide for his family and to have a better life.  Unfortunately, due to his diagnosis, he was no longer able to work. He was loved unconditionally by all his family.

He is the beloved son of Jesus Landaverde & Dora Castaneda de Landaverde of El Salvador. Devoted husband of Juventina Moran de Landaverde of Saugus. Loving & proud father of Gerber Landaverde & wife Rosa Arevalo of Lynn, Noe Landaverde of Saugus, Jermias Landaverde & wife Julia of Revere, Luis Antonio Landaverde & companion Zulma Morales of Saugus & Joel Landaverde & wife Jacqueline of Saugus. Cherished grandfather of Kali, Adrianna, Jeremy, Lea & Brian. Dear brother of Oscar Landaverde of Revere, Francisco Landaverde of El Salvador, Moises Landaverde of Alabama & Manuel Landaverde of Georgia. He is also lovingly survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, friends & extended family. 


Familia y amigos son invitados atender las horas de visita el Lunes 12 de Julio de las 4:00 pm a 8:00pm., Sitio Funerario de Vertuccio & Smith, en la 773 de la Broadway Street (Ruta 107) en la ciudad de Revere para el Sr. Luis A. Landavede – Castaneda, quien falleció con el Amor y la Presencia de su familia el Jueves, 8 de Julio en su hogar en Saugus, Massachusetts después de una larga lucha contra el cáncer.  Él tenía 56 años de edad. El funeral será conducido desde el Sitio Funerario el Martes, 13 a las 11:30 a.m., siguiendo la Misa Funeraria la Iglesia del Inmaculado Corazón en la esquina de las calles Beach St. & Winthrop Ave.) en Revere a las 12:30, seguido por el entierro en el Cementerio Riverside de Saugus.

Luis era oriundo de Citala, El Salvador. Criado y educado en El Salvador.  Vino a los Estados Unidos joven con una gran ética de trabajo y tenía una  gran expectativa del futuro para él y su familia.  Luis trabajó muchos años en la carrera del cuidado de jardines y césped.  Trabajó muchos años con Northeast Landscaping.  Luis era un hombre dedicado a su familia con una gran ética hacia el trabajo.  Hizo todo lo posible para proveer a su familia para tener una mejor vida.   Desafortunadamente, debido a su condición y diagnóstico, era posible que trabajara.  Era querido por su familia incondicionalmente. 

Es amado hijo de Jesus Landaverde y Dora Castaneda de Landaverde de El Salvador.  Devoto esposo de Juventina Moran de Landaverde de Saugus.  Amado y Orgulloso padre de Gerber Landaverde y su esposa Rosa Arevalo de Lynn, Noe Landaverde de Saugus, Jeremías Landaverde y su esposa Julia Reyes de Revere, Luis Antonio Landaverde y su acompañante Zulma Morales de Saugus & Joel Landaverde y su esposa Jacqueline de Saugus.  Acariciado abuelo de Kali, Adrianna, Jeremy, Lea &  Brian.  Estimado hermano de Oscar Landaverde de Revere,Francisco Landaverde de El Salvador, Jose B. Landaverde de Alabama y Manuel de Georgia.  También sobrevivido de muchas sobrinas, primos y amigos y familia lejana.

We will continue to honor the Vazza name and continue our commitment the same way that we always have. We also look forward to having both Louis Vazza and Jessica Vazza Ferragamo alongside of us, as we come together as one.
Our reputation has always been our biggest asset. For many years people always wanted us to have a larger facility, now our facility is the largest funeral home in the area. We will be making many beautiful upgrades to allow our families to have the most elegant facility to honor their loved one.
Although this announcement is bittersweet, as we say goodbye to our home, we are forever grateful for all of you for placing your constant faith and trust in us to care for your loved one. We will continue to do what we are best known for.
