Following high school, he began to work as a laborer, which he did for many years until his failing health forced him to stop working. Mario was a devoted friend to many and during his lengthy hospital stays, due to his failing health, he remained positive and never complained. His caretakers over the years enjoyed his warm personality and his sense of humor.
He is the beloved son of Thelma E. Salas of Chelsea & Santiago Osorio of Virginia. Devoted father of Andrea Osorio and cherished grandfather of Matthew Osorio, both of Guatemala. Dear brother of Karen Garcia & her husband Kevin of Lynn and cherished uncle of Kiara Garcia of Lynn. He is also lovingly survived by many other relatives and caring friends.
