Mary Grace Yolanda (Cafarelli) Criscuoli

Family & friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Friday, July 24th beginning at 9:00 a.m., in the Vertuccio & Smith Home for CRISCUOLI, MARY GRACEFunerals, 773 Broadway, Revere, for Mary Grace Yolanda (Cafarelli) Criscuoli, who died on Monday, July 20th at the Lighthouse Nursing Care Center of Revere, following a brief illness. The funeral will be conducted from the funeral home followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. in St. Anthony of Padua Church, 250 Revere St, followed by interment in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.

 

Born, raised and educated in Revere, she lived her entire life in Revere for ninety-six years. Mrs. Criscuoli was a long time member of the Revere Loyal Order of the Moose Ladies’ Chapter #1272. One of her fondest hobbies, was traveling with her daughter, here in the U.S.A. and throughout Europe.

 

She was the wife of the late Alfonso V. Criscuoli, who died in 2001. She is the devoted mother of Mary Jane Criscuoli of Revere. She is the cherished sister of Mafalda Russomando of Springfield, Anita Smith of Nahant, Rita Presley of Revere, Lydia O’Connor f Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Emily Warren and her husband Edward of Revere, Vienna Mooney and her husband Samuel of Youngsville, NC and the late Revere Patrolman George F. Cafarelli, Revere Police Lt. Antonio J. Cafarelli, Leonard F. Cafarelli, Olga Cafarelli and Anna Formica. Many, many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews also survive her.

Interment

Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908.

    Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of Yolanda Criscuoli. Aunti Yo will always be remembered for the kindness and love she extended to others, and her beaming smile.

    Her soul is at peace and we can envision her enjoying the company of her deceased family members who have been waiting for her in heaven.

We will continue to honor the Vazza name and continue our commitment the same way that we always have. We also look forward to having both Louis Vazza and Jessica Vazza Ferragamo alongside of us, as we come together as one.
Our reputation has always been our biggest asset. For many years people always wanted us to have a larger facility, now our facility is the largest funeral home in the area. We will be making many beautiful upgrades to allow our families to have the most elegant facility to honor their loved one.
Although this announcement is bittersweet, as we say goodbye to our home, we are forever grateful for all of you for placing your constant faith and trust in us to care for your loved one. We will continue to do what we are best known for.
