Massimilliano C. “Max” Nappa

Family & friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Monday, September 14th, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the Vertuccio & Smith MaxNappa2Home for Funerals, 773 Broadway (Route 107) Revere, for Massimilliano C.”Max” Nappa, who died on Wednesday, September 9th, at Season’s Hospice of Milton, following a valiant & intense battle with metastatic Kidney cancer. His funeral will be conducted from the funeral home on Tuesday, September 15th at 8:00 a.m., followed by the funeral mass in St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Washington Ave., Revere at 9:00 a.m.

Born in Naples, Italy, the family came to the USA in 1977, when “Max” was 7 years old & settled in Revere. Max was a 1988 alumnus of Revere High School. He entered the Army National Guard in March of 1989 & served until March of 1997. He has worked as a mechanic for his brother, Jerry at Revere Auto Service, since it’s opening over 25 years ago. There he made many friends and associates. “Max” always had a magnanimous personality, most welcoming. On June 17th, 2015 (Evacuation Day for the Commonwealth), Max was awarded “A Great Citizen Of Malden Community Award. For about the past 12 years, the family has lived in Malden & became very active in Malden Government and social affairs of the day. The Mayor, Gary Christenson and Jandeane Sica-Berenbaum, presented the award to Max at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, where he was recuperating from his latest set-back. However, above & beyond, Max was the explicit poster-boy for “The BEST FAMILY MAN”. His passion to recover & live, was no small matter, due to his overwhelming love & dedication to his wife and three sons.

Max’s beloved wife of seventeen years (17) is Camille A.(Mulkerin) Nappa. He is the adored father of Massimilliano C. “Max” Jr.,Anthony M. & Joseph M. Nappa, all at home. He is the cherished son of Bruno and Anna (Rossi) Nappa of Revere. He is the dear brother to Gennaro “Jerry” Nappa & his wife, Pamela, Bruno Nappa Jr. & his wife, Maria all of Saugus, Rita Jambor & her husband, Paul & Josephine Rozopoulos & her husband, George all of Peabody. He is the beloved son-in-law to Virginia Mulkerin & her husband, Morgan of Malden & is also lovingly survived by many nieces & nephews. Interment will be held in Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden.

    To the Nappa family-I am so sorry to hear of your loss, a loving husband, son and brother. He was a kind hearted and fun loving man, who I met where he worked. I hope that he gives strength to his family to cherish his memories and go on with life. He is now at peace after all his pain and suffering. He will be missed by all who at one time or another came in contact with him. My deepest and sincere condolences to the Nappa family and prayers to you all!
