Michael E. Marden, Jr.
Funeral services & Interment will be held privately, due to the ongoing COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic for Michael E. Marden, Jr., who died on Saturday, May 23rd in the comfort & love of his family at home, after a lengthy illness, he was 39 years old.
Michael was born in Malden and was raised & educated in Revere. He attended Northeast Regional Vocational High School in Wakefield & Revere High School. Due to Michael’s health, he was disabled and could not work. He had a deep passion for the New England Patriots and he was enthralled with each game, play & victory. Like many of us, Michael was able to truly enjoy the past 20 years of football with his team dominating the game. His fascination demonstrated that he was a “Super Fan”. He also enjoyed watching the Boston Celtics, as well, but not at the same level of excitement and devotion as the New England Patriots. He loved being surrounded by his nieces & nephews and watching them grow up. He was a young man with a good heart & good sense of humor, he will always be loved & remembered.
He is the beloved son of Michael E. Marden, Sr. & his wife Pamela (Theberge) Marden of Saugus, formerly of Revere. Cherished brother of Michelle L. Mazza of Lynn, Kerri A. Marden of Danvers & Paul E. Marden & wife Alicia of Saugus. Adored uncle of Kylie Mazza & Cameron Mazza, both of Lynn, Stella Bulla, Sadi Grey Bulla, both of Danvers & Saylor Marden of Saugus. He is also lovingly survived by many loving aunts, uncles & cousins.
My heart and love goes out to you all. I wish I found out about this sooner than I did. I dated Mike for a coupon of months in my 20’s and his family treated me amazing as did Mike. He was a great kid with a big heart.
I am so sorry to hear of this loss. My thoughts are with you and your family. You were such a supportive family to Michael. As heartbreaking as it was to see him in the ER, his family support system was a relief. I wished things had turned a different corner for you and your loved ones. You will all ALWAYS hold a special place in my heart.
