Patricia “Patty” Ann (Kashian) Willis, 75, of Saugus, MA passed away on June 7, 2022 after a long, valiant battle with breast cancer. Her devotion to her family supported her in her struggle and ultimately gave her peace. Devoted daughter of the late Jack & Christine (Abbate) Kashian. Loving wife of 56 years to Wayne C. Willis and beloved mother to Cheryl A. Willis and Erika M. Abruzzese-Bagley & husband David J. Bagley all of Saugus. Cherished grandmother of Nicholas W. Abruzzese of Saugus. Dear sister of Helen Hanlon & husband Kenneth Hanlon of Middleton, Karen Pizzi & husband Stephen of Revere and the late Jacqueline King who recently passed on June 2, 2022 & her husband Donald E. King, Jr. of Middleton. She is also lovingly survived by aunts, many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and cousins.
Patty was one of a kind. She was the most loving, selfless and compassionate person who had dedicated her life to her family and always put them first. Although she fought a long and hard battle with cancer for many years, Patty would continue to find joy cooking delicious meals every night and spending time with her loved ones. She would spend many hours on the phone with her three sisters, as well as taking trips to Las Vegas and Foxwoods with them and her brother in-laws. She loved each and every one of her many nieces and nephews and each one of them held a dear spot in her heart. Most of all, Patty loved her two daughters and her twelve year old grandson more than anything in this world. She spent countless days attending to her eldest daughters care and at the same time was always there for her youngest daughter and grandson. It was important to her that her family was always happy, even if it meant sacrificing her own happiness. She was more than just a mom to her daughters; she was their best friend, confidant and role model. Patty got the most joy watching her grandsons’ baseball games, spending time cooking with him and watching their favorite shows. Her delicious recipes will be cherished for many years to come. Patty will forever be deeply missed here on Earth, but we take great comfort knowing that she will always be with us in spirit. Her courage and strength will always be admired by all who were blessed to have known her.

As we suffer loss, we know words are never quite enough
to explain the emptiness and void that permeates
our hearts. But we know light overcomes darkness.
Patty is a beacon, her compassion and dedication always shining outward inspite of her own deep battles.
Her endless joy was in loving, comforting, and bringing happiness. Allow her eternal love to continue to shine over us
as her love is eternal. Love never fails
I will always love you my maid of honor, sisterinlaw and friend
Charlene
