Patricia J. “Pat” (Reardon) Nazzaro

Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Tuesday, January 21st, 2014 in the Vertuccio and Smith Home for Funerals, 773 Broadway (Route 107), Revere, from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. for Patricia J. “Pat” (Reardon) Nazzaro, who passed away at the Chelsea Jewish Nursing Home in Chelsea on Saturday, January 18th, at 80 years.  A funeral mass will follow in St. Anthony of Padua Church, Revere, at 11 a.m.  Pat was born and raised in Portland, Maine.  She attended schools in the Portland area.  Pat furthered her education by attending Business School and Secretarial School.  In 1955, Pat and her husband, Michael Nazzaro, were married and settled in Revere, where she remained.  In 1972 she had lost her husband and had her young family to raise alone.  The dedicated mother she was, she went to work full time at Stone & Webster Engineering Corp. as a secretary.  Later in life, Pat donated her time and talents of knitting and crocheting “Prayer Blankets” for Massachusetts General Hospital and Boston’s Children’s Hospital.  She is the wife of the late Michael Nazzaro, the loving mother of Debra A. D’Ambrosio & her husband Lorenzo of East Boston and Cynthia J. Nazzaro of Winthrop.  She is the cherished grandmother of Paul L. D’Ambrosio & his wife Alexandra P. of East Boston and Lauren A. D’Ambrosio of East Boston & Baltimore, MD.  She is the dear sister of Donald Reardon & his wife Gail of Yarmouth, ME.  Also lovingly survived by several nieces and nephews.  Interment will be private.  In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to: Northeast Animal Shelter, 347 Highland Ave., Salem, MA 01970.

Funeral Mass

Tuesday, January 21st, 2014 at 11 a.m. in St. Antony of Padua Church, Revere.

Interment

Will be private.

We feel blessed that with all of the interest, the Vazza Family chose us to carry on their century old business and family name. We will become Vertuccio Smith & Vazza, Beechwood Home for Funerals. We will continue to honor the Vazza name and continue our commitment the same way that we always have. We also look forward to having both Louis Vazza and Jessica Vazza Ferragamo alongside of us, as we come together as one.
Our reputation has always been our biggest asset. For many years people always wanted us to have a larger facility, now our facility is the largest funeral home in the area. We will be making many beautiful upgrades to allow our families to have the most elegant facility to honor their loved one.
Although this announcement is bittersweet, as we say goodbye to our home, we are forever grateful for all of you for placing your constant faith and trust in us to care for your loved one. We will continue to do what we are best known for.
