Paul G. Reppucci
Family & friends are invited to attendvisiting hours on Thursday, January 16th, 2014 from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Vertuccio and Smith Home for Funerals, 773 Broadway (Route 107), Revere, for Paul G. “Bean” Reppucci, who passed away unexpectedly at the Harrington Hospital in Southbridge, MA , on Sunday, January 12th. The funeral will be conducted from the funeral home on Friday, January 17th at 9:30 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. in the Immaculate Conception Church (Corner of Beach St. & Winthrop Ave.), Revere. Mr. Reppucci has battled Diabetes for most of his life, with his loving family by his side. Paul was born and raised in the Beachmont section of Revere. He attended Revere Schools and shortly after graduation, he joined the United States Navy during the Viet Nam War. He served his country proudly from 1968 – 1974. After leaving the Navy, Paul went to work for the M.B.T.A., as a bus driver for over 20 years before retiring due to health related issues. Paul was one of a select few to be chosen to drive a bus for the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, Utah. Paul was known as a fun loving man, but above all, he is best known as hard working and dedicated to his family. Paul lived in Revere all of his life before moving to Maine in 2007. He leaves his devoted wife, Linda M. Stasio-Reppucci of Naples, ME, whom he shared 43 years of marriage. He is the cherished father of: Tammy L. Marra & her husband James J. of Hampstead, NH, Paul G. Repucci, II & his wife Jacqueline A. of Stratham, NH, and Matthew J. Repucci of Hampstead, NH. He is the dear brother of Grace Reppucci of Sturbridge and the late Thomas A. Reppucci. He is the adored grandfather of: Crystal Costello, Gennaro Marra, Joseph Marra, Melayna Marra, Matteo Marra and Samantha Reppucci. Loving son in-law of John M. Stasio of Revere and the late Barbara L. Stasio. Also lovingly survived by several nieces and nephews. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden, MA.
So sorry to have Google searched Paul’s name and found out about his passing. We were in boot camp together(Co.222), and on the morning working party for our barracks. All us guys were close from Ma.. Bean and I were fairly good friends and had a blast. O remember a funny, fun-loving guy that was well liked. As I am getting older. I oh so wanted to meet again. Hope he spoke of me as a friend. Once again my deepest sorrow and prayers to your family. Love.
We are fortunate to have met Mr.Repucci here in N.H at his son Paul’s home,along with the rest of the clan. Truly heartbroken when we got this sad news.Our sincerest condolences for his beautiful loving wife,children,sister,father-inlaw.His pride and joy grandchildren.GOD SPEED Mr.Repucci Peace for the family
