Born in Winthrop, she lived in East Boston, all of her life. She was a 1946 alumna of E.B. High School. After her children were grown, she worked within the Boston School System, as a “Lunch Mother” in the East Boston District for about 10 years. She was definitely a stay at home all through the formative years, giving her children and grandchildren the best optimum care.
She is the beloved wife of 65 years to William G. Mullen. She is the devoted mother to Joyce A. Hartman & her husband Jonathan A. Hartman of Oak Island, Revere, William G. Mullen, Jr. & his wife Ann Marie of Middleborough, Ma. & James W. Mullen of East Boston. She is the cherished grandmother to Taylor & Lisa Mullen both of Middleborough & Samantha A. & Nicholas A. Hartman, both of Revere. She is the dear sister to Angelo Paglucca of East Boston, Anna Coviello & her husband Frederick of Whitman, Ma. & the late Mary Page, Julia Puzzo, Phylly, Angelina, Vincenza, Michael & Alfred Paglucca. She is also lovingly survived by her sister-in-law, Vera Paglucca of East Boston, many faithful nieces, nephews, grand-nieces & grand-nephews.
Rest in peace to my grandmother Phyllis Mullen
