Robert P. Farrell, Jr.

Family & friends are invited to attend Visiting Hours on Sunday, June 2nd from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., in the Vertuccio and Smith, Home for Funerals, 773 Broadway (Rt.107) Revere, for Robert P. “Bobby” Farrell, Jr., who died unexpectedly at his home in Malden on Saturday, May 25th. He was 62 years old. A Funeral Service will be conducted in the funeral home on Monday, June 3rd at 11:00 a.m., immediately followed by interment in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
Bobby was born & raised in Revere. He was an alumnus of Revere High School, Class of 1975. Bobby was known for his athleticism and was a tremendous hockey player. He earned a varsity letter in the sports that he played. He thoroughly enjoyed playing winter sports and because of that he loved winter time. Bobby knew from a young age he wanted to follow in his father footsteps in the bookbinders artistry. He enjoyed a career that spanned over 20 years with ACME Book Bindery in Somerville, until he was forced to stop working due to a work-related injury.
He is the devoted son of Alice E. (Ritchie) Farrell of Revere & the Late Robert P. Farrell. He is the loving father of Michael R. Farrell & his wife Ruella of Salem, NH & Kristin A. Wright & Her fiancé Jorge Ruiz of East Boston. He is the cherished grandfather of Danielle A. Ruiz. He is the dear brother of Eileen M. Mundis & her Husband of Paul S. of Revere. the beloved uncle of Paul S. Mundis, II of Revere, Laura Douglas of Saugus & her son Kenneth Allan Webber, III of Saugus & Nicole Bickert of Mt. Holly Springs, PA. He is also lovingly survived by several cousins & friends.
