Rudolph A. “Duke” Turino
Family & friends are respectfully invited to attend a visitation on Monday, Nov. 9th, beginning at 9:00 a.m. in the Vertuccio & Smith, Home for Funerals, 773 Broadway (Rte. 107),Revere, for RUDOLPH A.”DUKE” TURINO, who died on Wednesday, Nov. 4th at the MASCONOMET HEALTHCARE CENTER OF TOPSFIELD, following a brief illness. His funeral will be conducted from the funeral home, followed by the funeral mass in St. Anthony of Padua Church, 250 Revere St., Revere at 11:00 a.m. followed by entombment in HOLY CROSS COMMUNITY MAUSOLEUM, MALDEN.
Born & raised in Boston’s North End he attended several of the local” Boston schools. “DUKE” left the North End & moved to the WOLLASTON SECTION OF QUINCY, over 40 years ago. Most of his life was absorbed in property management as a real estate entrepreneur. “Duke”, as he was affectionately known, had an intense passion for “ballroom dancing”. He seldom missed a weekend at one of the local ballrooms, either on the North Shore or the South Shore. He danced until March of this year.
He was the beloved companion of 40 years to the late Margaret A. Borsari. He is the devoted grandfather to Steven C. Maffeo & his wife, Jacqueline J. of South Weymouth. He is the cherished uncle to Aleta Falzone & her partner, Richard Vitale of Topsfield, Cynthia Willette & her husband, Joseph of Boxford, Vincent P. Rizzo & Malesa Sue Fagone both of Revere. He is also lovingly survived by several other nieces & nephews. He was also the son of the late: Charles & Theresa (Sogliero) Turino & the brother of the late, OLGA M. SKELTON, CARMELA RIZZO, LEONORA GALLO, LUCY CAMPBELL, JOSEPH, ANTHONY, GAETANO & ROGER TURINO.
