Shirley M. (Nardella) Ferrelli

At 86 years, in Saugus, formerly of Revere on December 8th, Feast of the Immaculate Conception, following a brief but devastating illness.

Beloved wife of the late John Ferrelli, Sr. Cherished mother of Debra M. Mitrano & her husband Theodore “Teddy” of Saugus & John Ferrelli, Jr. of Everett. Proud grandmother to Alexandria A. Mitrano of Saugus & the late Anthony J. Mitrano & John Paul Ferrelli. Dear sister of Geraldine Crisafulli of New York & her late husband Charles, Amato “Marty” Nardella & his wife Peng of New York, Annmarie Nardella of Saugus & the late Carol Ann Nardella. Also lovingly survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces & grandnephews.

Family & friends are invited to attend her funeral on Wednesday, December 15th, from the Vertuccio & Smith, Home for Funerals, 773 Broadway (Rte. 107) REVERE at 10:00 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass in Blessed Sacrament Church, 14 Summer St., SAUGUS at 11:00 a.m., followed with entombment in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. Visiting Hours will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. Parking available in lot left of the funeral home.

All attendees are asked to wear masks while in the funeral home and at church.

Shirley was a Eucharistic Minister for St. Mary’s Parish of Revere & Blessed Sacrament Parish of Saugus.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.

    I was saddened to hear about your mom, Shirley. She was an amazing person. I member visiting her often when she lived in Revere. We shared many chats and laughs together. She will always be in my prayers. May she rest in peace.

    So sorry to hear of your mother’s passing. I remember your mom & dad from year’s ago. I lived on Pemberton St, but I used to ride my bike pass their house. Everybody knew everyone then. I went to school with your husband. Miss those days. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this difficult time.
