Dearly loved Theresa J. (DeLuca) Crivello passed peacefully on Tuesday, July 14th with family by her side at her home in Revere. Born, raised & educated in Revere, Mrs. Crivello, a 1936 alumna of Revere High School, met and married the love of her life, the late Vincent J. Crivello, in 1941. In 1926, her family opened “DeLuca’s Market” on the corner of Beach St. & Thurlow Ave. in Revere. Theresa dedicated countless hours assisting her parents & brother Angelo in the full operation of the market. Neighbors & customers will certainly remember her gracious smile, sense of humor, and willingness to be of service. During the Depression & beyond, she & her family at DeLuca’s Market were overwhelmingly kind & generous to folks bearing financial distress. Theresa worked at the store alongside her dear brother Angelo and later her beloved husband Vincent until it closed in 2010. Theresa & Vincent were active members of Immaculate Conception Parish Community. Both were long-time volunteers and supporters of the church and among the parish’s first appointed Eucharistic Ministers. This extraordinary couple enjoyed 72 years together in marriage before Vincent’s death in June 2013. Besides her devotion to family and friends, Theresa expressed her boundless love through cooking, baking, and handwork. She also enjoyed gardening and dance.
She is the cherished mother of Vincent J. Crivello, Jr. & his wife Marie (Revere), Janet M. Pletcher & her husband Stephen D. (Prides Crossing), & Marilyn J. Kobus & her husband Anton H. (Manchester-by-the-Sea). She is the devoted & adoring grandmother to Patricia M. Bright & her husband Ronald (Melrose), Diane L. Perry & her husband Richard (Peabody), Brian T. Pletcher & his wife Kellian (Somerville), Marisa L. Kobus (Medford), & Philip A. Kobus (Manchester-by-the-Sea); great-grandmother of Lindsay and Cory Bright, Brandon and Dillon Perry; & dear sister of the late Angelo H. & Ralph T. DeLuca. Also lovingly survived by her sister-in-law Angela DeLuca (Durham, NH) & many nieces, nephews, grandnieces & grandnephews.
Grandma,
You meant the world to us and you will be missed everyday. Our family shared so many memories with you that will stay in our hearts forever. You were such a loving, caring, strong, beautiful woman who always gave us your unconditional love. Brandon and Dillon will miss their Gigi. I hope one day I can be an amazing grandmother/great grandmother to my children and pass on the love and wisdom that you were made of. We are so blessed to have had you in our lives. Papa and Uncle are waiting for their angel.
Love you with all our hearts, Ricky, Diane, Brandon & Dillon xoxo

Grandma,
We will remember you as the most unselfish, caring, loving person in our entire family. I am so grateful my children were graced with your presence as well as you instilling these qualities in them. That is what family is all about. You will deeply be missed and knowing that you are with dear Papa and uncle is very comforting to us.
We love you. Love, The Bright’s, Patti, Ronnie, Lindsay & Cory
