Vivian A. (Vannelli) Cash

Family and friends are invited to attend Visiting Hours on Sunday, August 12th from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Vertuccio & Smith, Home for Funerals, 773 Broadway (Route 107) REVERE for Vivian A. (Vannelli) Cash, who passed away on Tuesday, August 7th at CHA- Everett Hospital, following a sudden decline in health. She was 78 years of age. Her funeral will be conducted from the funeral home on Monday, August 13th at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, 571 Boston St., LYNN at 10:30 a.m. Services will conclude with interment in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn.

Born and raised in Boston’s West End, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Dorothea (Foss) Vannelli. She attended local schools and was a graduate of St. Rose High School in Chelsea. She married David E. Cash and they settled in Lynn and remained longtime residents. She was predeceased by her husband in 2014 after sharing 50 years of marriage together. Vivian’s life work was her devotion to her faith and to her many nieces and nephews. She was a longtime supporter and parishioner at Sacred Heart Church in Lynn for many years, never missing an opportunity to donate her time and energy. She was very active in the Sacred Heart Food Panty for many years as she had a passion for helping those less fortunate.

She is the dear sister of the late Deborah “Debby” Racki & the late Leonora Cataldo. Cherished godmother & aunt to Roberta L. Racki of Chelsea. Devoted aunt of Brian R. Racki & his fiancée, Athanasia Dariotis of Lynn, Nicole L. Pasco of Revere, & Anthony D. Pasco & his fiancée, Nicole Tedesco of Taunton. Adoring grand-aunt to Ottavia J. Racki of Chelsea & Stephanie A. Racki of Allston. She is also lovingly survived by 2 great-grand nieces, Yassmina & Sophia & 2 great-grand-nephews, Giovanni & Izaiah & many extended relatives.

We feel blessed that with all of the interest, the Vazza Family chose us to carry on their century old business and family name. We will become Vertuccio Smith & Vazza, Beechwood Home for Funerals. We will continue to honor the Vazza name and continue our commitment the same way that we always have. We also look forward to having both Louis Vazza and Jessica Vazza Ferragamo alongside of us, as we come together as one.
Our reputation has always been our biggest asset. For many years people always wanted us to have a larger facility, now our facility is the largest funeral home in the area. We will be making many beautiful upgrades to allow our families to have the most elegant facility to honor their loved one.
Although this announcement is bittersweet, as we say goodbye to our home, we are forever grateful for all of you for placing your constant faith and trust in us to care for your loved one. We will continue to do what we are best known for.
