    Marie and Family:
I was saddened to hear of Bill’s passing. I talked with Mom today and she was the one who mentioned it. Mom and I still talk frequently about our times at Hampton and when you and Bill would come up for a visit.
Marie, it has been many years since I saw you and Bill when you would come to Hampton Beach to visit Mom. I was always the beneficiary of your visit. I will never forget your cookies (always individually wrapped) and, of course, your meatballs. I remember one time asking about your famous meatballs and Bill making the comment “doesn’t everybody have meatballs for breakfast?”
Although it has been well over thirty years since our paths have crossed, I have thought of you and Bill fondly on many occasions. I have lived here in Oklahoma since 1994 and retired in 2010. Andra continues to work and two of the three kids are moved out and gainfully employed.
Our oldest, Christopher, graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 2008 and is currently a captain in the Marine Corps. Bill would have been pleased to know him, a fellow Marine. Christopher is a pilot flying the Osprey and is headed to Afghanistan this weekend for a seven month deployment. He is married and living in North Carolina.
Noelle graduated from Uiversity of Central Oklahoma three years ago and is a pre K teacher in Dallas working for an exclusive United Methodist school right next to the SMU campus. She is doing well and enjoys teaching and working with her four year old kids.
Marcus is still living at home and is continuing to go to school working toward his bachelor degree at the local university where I used to work.
Marie, I know this has to be a difficult time for you and the family. I want you to know I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers and hope you will continue to look back on your 66 years together as a blessing with a lot of great memories.
    Warmest regards and condolences.

To all our families, friends, and residents of Revere, East Boston, and surrounding communities of the North Shore,

We would like to announce that after 37 years of caring for thousands of families at our 773 Broadway location, on January 31st, 2023 we will be officially RELOCATING, to our new location at 262 Beach St., Revere.
On September 30th, 2022, we proudly purchased the Vazza “Beechwood” Funeral Home – DiPietro and Vazza, Inc. A name that has served families for 102 years. We feel blessed that with all of the interest, the Vazza Family chose us to carry on their century old business and family name. We will become Vertuccio Smith & Vazza, Beechwood Home for Funerals. We will continue to honor the Vazza name and continue our commitment the same way that we always have. We also look forward to having both Louis Vazza and Jessica Vazza Ferragamo alongside of us, as we come together as one.
Our reputation has always been our biggest asset. For many years people always wanted us to have a larger facility, now our facility is the largest funeral home in the area. We will be making many beautiful upgrades to allow our families to have the most elegant facility to honor their loved one.
Although this announcement is bittersweet, as we say goodbye to our home, we are forever grateful for all of you for placing your constant faith and trust in us to care for your loved one. We will continue to do what we are best known for.
Thank you for your friendship and continued support.
God bless you all.
Faithfully,

Your friends at Vertuccio Smith and Vazza.
