Yolanda F. Quagenti

Family & friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Monday, July 22nd, 2013 from 5 – 8 p.m. in the Vertuccio & Smith Home for Funerals, 773 Broadway (Route 107), Revere, for Yolanda F. (Aucella) Quagenti, who died on Saturday, July 20th at Wingate at Andover, in Andover, following a lengthy illness, at 94 years.  The funeral will be conducted from the funeral home on Tuesday, July 23rd at 9 a.m., followed by the Funeral Mass in St. Anthony of Padua Church (250 Revere St.), Revere, at 10 a.m.  Born & raised in Revere, she was educated at Revere Schools & was a 1937 alumna of Revere High School.  She lived in Revere most of her life until moving to Chelsea in 1999.  She left Chelsea in 2010, when she moved to Andover, MA.  Yolanda had a 15-year career with the Chelsea Superior Court as a Clerk-typist.  Her late husband, Henry J. Quagenti, Sr. died in April of 1979.  She is the cherished Mother of Henry J. Quagenti, Jr. & his wife Joyce E. of Plaistow, NH.  She is the devoted Grandmother to Jeffrey J. Quagenti & his wife Devon of Haverhill, & Jessica A. Tyre & her husband Jonathan of Kennebunk, Maine.  She is also the dear sister of Anthony E. Aucella, Jr. of Phoenix, AZ & Rosemarie A. Crivello & her husband Joseph of Baltimore, MD, & the late: John, Matthew, & Harold Aucella, & the late, Eleanor R. Fleming, Jean Gangi & Agnes Bousquet.  She is also lovingly survived by her two great-granddaughters, Kayla J. & Novie G. Tyre, & many faithful nieces, nephews, grand-nieces & grand-nephews.  Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.

We feel blessed that with all of the interest, the Vazza Family chose us to carry on their century old business and family name. We will become Vertuccio Smith & Vazza, Beechwood Home for Funerals. We will continue to honor the Vazza name and continue our commitment the same way that we always have. We also look forward to having both Louis Vazza and Jessica Vazza Ferragamo alongside of us, as we come together as one.
Our reputation has always been our biggest asset. For many years people always wanted us to have a larger facility, now our facility is the largest funeral home in the area. We will be making many beautiful upgrades to allow our families to have the most elegant facility to honor their loved one.
Although this announcement is bittersweet, as we say goodbye to our home, we are forever grateful for all of you for placing your constant faith and trust in us to care for your loved one. We will continue to do what we are best known for.
