Family & friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Tuesday, February 17th from 9 to 11 a.m., in the Vertuccio & Smith Home for Funerals, 773 Broadway (Route 1-7) Revere for, Annette M. (Malta) Zaccone, who died on Sunday, February 8th at the Cornerstone Hospice, Winter Park, Fl, after a long illness. A funeral service will take place following the visitation in the Funeral Home. Born & raised in Revere, Annette was an alumna of Revere High, Class of 1952. After high school, she worked at Sid Green’s & Line Material as a bookkeeper. In 1954 she married her love, Guy S. Zaccone. The couple settled in Revere where they raised their two sons. Annette loved her family and in later years she was blessed with grandchildren as well as great grandchildren, whom she adored. It is well known what a “Shopper’ Annette was. She loved shopping for almost anything & always had a coupon for it. She is the devoted wife of Guy Zaccone of Revere, of whom she shared 61 years of marriage. She is the loving mother of Stephen G. Zaccone & his wife Elaine S. of Orlando, FL & Mark E. Zaccone of Revere. She is the cherished grandmother of Alexandra N. Zaccone & her companion Nickola LoRe`, Stephen G. Zaccone , Nicholas A. Zaccone & Justin M. Zaccone all of Orlando, Fl. She is the adored great grandmother of Nicco & Audrianna. She is the beloved sister of Loretta Burgess & Ret. RPD Lawrence Malta both of Revere. Entombment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery Versailles Mausoleum. In Lieu of flowers, Remembrances may be made to: Winchester Hospital Foundation, 611 Main St. Winchester, MA 01890, Attn: Melinda Taranto – Garnis.

    I am so sorry for your loss. We just lost my mother in March 2014. I understand what you have been through. It has been a lot of years, but I wish you all well.

We feel blessed that with all of the interest, the Vazza Family chose us to carry on their century old business and family name. We will become Vertuccio Smith & Vazza, Beechwood Home for Funerals. We will continue to honor the Vazza name and continue our commitment the same way that we always have. We also look forward to having both Louis Vazza and Jessica Vazza Ferragamo alongside of us, as we come together as one.
Our reputation has always been our biggest asset. For many years people always wanted us to have a larger facility, now our facility is the largest funeral home in the area. We will be making many beautiful upgrades to allow our families to have the most elegant facility to honor their loved one.
Although this announcement is bittersweet, as we say goodbye to our home, we are forever grateful for all of you for placing your constant faith and trust in us to care for your loved one. We will continue to do what we are best known for.
