Arthur L. “Artie” Adamson, Jr.

Family & friends are invited to attend a Memorial Funeral Mass on Wednesday, August 20th, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. in the Immaculate Conception Church (corner of Beach St. & Winthrop Ave.), Revere, for Arthur L. “Artie” Adamson, Jr., who died on Tuesday, August 12th following a lengthy illness at Golden Living Center of West Newton, at 60 years.  Following the funeral mass, interment will follow at the family lot at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.  Born in Winthrop, he lived all of his life in Revere, graduating from Revere High School, Class of 1971.  Most of his working career was in the family business as a construction laborer.  “Adamson Construction & Heavy Equipment” continues to operate, led by “Artie’s” only brother, Randy Adamson.  He is the beloved son of Eva M. (Sargent) Adamson of Revere, & the late Arthur L. Adamson, Sr.  He is the husband of Lorraine (King) Adamson, the cherished father of Jennifer A., & the proud & devoted grandfather of Noah, Nicolete, & Olivia Adamson, all of Revere.  He is the dear brother of Randy J. Adamson of Revere, & Margi-Adamson-Marjoun of Lynn.  He is also lovingly survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces,nephews, & cousins.  In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the: Make-A-Wish Foundation, One Bulfinch Place, Boston, MA 02114-2031.

We feel blessed that with all of the interest, the Vazza Family chose us to carry on their century old business and family name. We will become Vertuccio Smith & Vazza, Beechwood Home for Funerals. We will continue to honor the Vazza name and continue our commitment the same way that we always have. We also look forward to having both Louis Vazza and Jessica Vazza Ferragamo alongside of us, as we come together as one.
Our reputation has always been our biggest asset. For many years people always wanted us to have a larger facility, now our facility is the largest funeral home in the area. We will be making many beautiful upgrades to allow our families to have the most elegant facility to honor their loved one.
Although this announcement is bittersweet, as we say goodbye to our home, we are forever grateful for all of you for placing your constant faith and trust in us to care for your loved one. We will continue to do what we are best known for.
